Can you name any non human relations? Why not call this what it is, a function of the Identity politics movement of the 1970s. As opposed to being citizens or Americans, people became hyphenated -Americans so they could be counted demographically by the Federal Govt. and eligible for special programs by every level of government. “Enterprise Zones” anyone?
