East Side Shooting Leaves One Man Dead, Another Man Injured

At 3:40am on April 15, Evansville Police offficers were dispatched to the Pony Gentelman’s Club for a report of shots fired. The business is located at 4820 Tecumseh.  Officers arrived and located a man with at least one gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and called for additinal medical assistance, but the victim did not survive.

A short time later, police were called to the Casey’s General Store at Green River and Pollack for a report of person who had been shot. Officers determined he was a also a victim from the shooting at the Pony. The second victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is not being released at this time.
Investigators have not made any arrests at this time. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call EPD or WeTip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
