Junior Preston Van Winkle (Santa Claus, Indiana) was the top finisher for USI, tying for 53rd in a field of 120 golfers. He shot at six-over 150, shooting 75 each round. Senior Grant Saylor (Newburgh, Indiana) tied for 62nd, shooting a seven-over 151 (78-73).
Tying for 71st was junior Kyle Tanriverdi (Pewaukee, Wisconsin) and freshman K.O. Taylor (Madisonville, Kentucky), as each golfer shot an eight-over 152 (75-77).
The Screaming Eagles finished tied for 17th out of 24 teams. They shot a 300 in round one with a 302 in round two, for a 26-over 602.
USI will return to action April 9-10 in Midwest Regional #3 at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana.
