After firing a three-over 75 in the first round, Van Winkle shot an even par 72 on day two. Three shots behind Van Winkle was freshman Trevis Bell (Madisonville, Kentucky) with a six-over 150 (76-74). Bell tied for 20th in the event.
Senior Grant Saylor (Newburgh, Indiana) finished a stroke behind Bell, as he shot a seven-over 151 (77-74) to tie for 26th.  Freshman K.O. Taylor (Madisonville, Kentucky) tied for 38th with a nine-over 153 (75-78), and junior Kyle Tanriverdi (Pewaukee, Wisconsin) tied for 40th with a 10-over 154 (78-76).
USI placed sixth out of 13 teams, shooting a 23-over 599. After a 303 in round one, the Eagles shaved off seven strokes in round two for a 296.
The Eagles are back on the course April 3-4 as part of the Music City Regional at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
