Pahud and Gray Pace Aces Men In Florida
Aces Play Final Round on Tuesday
 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Tyler Gray and Wil Pahud notched identical rounds of a 6-over 77 as the University of Evansville men’s golf team finished up the first round of the Benbow Invitational at Jacksonville Beach Golf Course.
Evansville’s duo ranks in a tie for 11th place with their rounds of 77. They are each seven off the lead. Noah Reese was third for the Purple Aces on Monday. He sits tied for 16th place with his round of 79.
Matt Ladd and Jon Pick wrap up UE’s top five. Each completed the first round with a 9-over 80 and are tied for 21st place. Recording an 82 was Cameron Weyer. That effort has him tied for 26th. Next up for the Aces was Robert Waggoner, who carded an 84.
Austin Carmack and Zac Turi rounded out the squad in day one. Carmack notched an 86 while Turi checked in with an 87.
As a team, the Aces are tied for 4th place with a 314. Butler’s 297 has them on top with IUPUI seven strokes behind. Albany State is in third with a 310.
Jackson Juerling of IUPUI leads the individuals and was the only player on the day to finish under par. He registered a 1-under 70 and leads Butler’s Michael Denner by two strokes. Joey Arcuri of Butler is third with a 74 while fellow Bulldog Patrick Allgeier is tied with two Albany State players for 4th with rounds of 75.
Tomorrow, the squads play the final round of the event.
