  1. I’m a strong 2nd Amendment supporter, but on the surface, without reading the language of the bill, this is a little scary. Even if the bill supplies firearm training, 30 days does not a proficient handler of firearms make. Does this bill put a mental evaluation in the mix and, if so, does this add another layer to our strata of legal system that’s already choking our courtrooms?

  2. I don’t understand the point of this bill at all. It is absurdly easy to buy a gun in Indiana. Basically, be at least 18 years old not a felon and not crazy. Hell, if you buy it from an individual you don’t even have to pass the federal background check. This seems like a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist…
