Arts Council’s January and February 2017 Brown Bag Series line up announced

Evansville, IN:  The Brown Bag Performance Series is a free program offered to the community by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. The series runs weekly from October through April at the Arts Council’s BSF Gallery, located at 318 Main Street in downtown Evansville. The Brown Bag Performance Series is every Wednesday at noon. Summer performances are once a month. It is encouraged to bring your lunch and a friend, and enjoy the free local performances. The Brown Bag Series is made possible in part by the Mesker Music Trust, managed by Fifth Third Investment Advisors. Below is the schedule for January through February 2017. 

January 4 Hal Wolford sings Cole Porter

January 11 Angelus – music from various religious traditions and historical periods

January 18 Shade Tree Players – mountain, gospel, and folk music

January 25 Rhein Valley Brass – traditional German music

February 1 Think Pink – preview of “Falsetto”

February 8 Larry Miller – the songs of Bob Dylan

February 15 Gina Moore, Bob Green, Monte Skelton celebrate Valentines

February 22 Eric McCluskey – a recital of show tunes
