  1. Becker and LKB alert. Their hero Michael Moore warns that Trump can win:

“Despite most indicators showing Donald Trump well behind his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the key states he needs to win the Nov. 8 presidential election, populist filmmaker Michael Moore has long argued that the Republican nominee has more support than people may think. At a recent promotional event for his new film “Michael Moore in TrumpLand,” Moore told audience members that he thinks the loudmouthed GOP nominee is going to win, largely because American elites are so cut off from regular people that they don’t realize just how much the middle class has been harmed in recent years. “I know a lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump, and they don’t necessarily agree with him,” the left-leaning documentarian said.”

    • You did a good job on that one Joe! Michael Moore is a commie, an idiot and disconnected from reality……but you deserve credit for trying.

      HEY JOE:

Did you see that Ted Cruz is gonna block all of President Hillary Clinton’s Supreme Court nominees? That guy….he’s taking over for Trump. Unbelievable.

    • Michael Moore, like Rosie O’Donnell, Barbra Streisand, Oprah Winfrey, and Miley Cryus, does not represent the people of the United States of America. If Trump wins (and I hope he doesn’t) I hope the people of Canada don’t hold it against us when those pathetic losers move there after the election.

  2. Media darling “Never Trump” republicans are now figuring out if they don’t vote for him, Hillary Clinton will win. Will Jeb of Warrick figure this out?

“At the start of October, Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz made it clear — in no uncertain terms — he was done with Donald Trump, but now he’s back on board with the Republican presidential nominee….But with less than two weeks until Election Day, something has changed for the Utah lawmaker. Apparently, he’s come to some realization about “how bad” Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton really is.

I will not defend or endorse @realDonaldTrump, but I am voting for him. HRC is that bad. HRC is bad for the USA.

  3. Is Evan McCullum (Utah) on the ballot in Indiana?
Heard an interesting concept yesterday; McCullum might have enough strength in some if the Western states to actually win them and their Electoral College votes. And those votes wouldn’t be enough for him to win but would prevent either Trumpeter or Hildebeast from getting the necessary 270 Electoral College votes required for election. Result: the decision for the next POTUS would end up decided by a vote (amongst all csndidates for that office) in Congress.

  4. If you think this year’s candidates are bad wait till 2020. Michael Bloomberg was quoted yesterday as expecting the candidates in 2020 will be Ted Cruz and Elizabeth Warren. Personalities aside Trump and Hillary have much in common. Warren and Cruz have absolutely nothing in common.

    • That’s assuming the U S of A still exists in 2020. This nation may implode after the election of either the Great Orange One or the Old Crone.

      • With the polarization and discontent in the country, the next four years will be a challenging time. If we can keep from killing each other over which POS gets elected, it will be a good step forward. Most crystal balls are filled with contested elections, intimidation, impeachment proceedings, and otherwise reasonable people thinking each other are mouth breathing idiots.

I had a different sort of thought this morning about the irony of a certain group of people expressing moral and intellectual superiority while doing stupid immoral things.

    • So what? Putin and Kim Jong Un have endorsed Trump. I’d rather cast my lot with Castro personally.

  8. I NOTICE………that ELKAYBEE is missing from the CCO patron commentaries.

Maybe Editor withholds the right to ban a person from commenting.

    Technically perhaps.

But I GUARANDAMTEE YOU if she has been BANNED FROM COMMENTING, it is a MISTAKE on Editor’s part.

………Morally, it is DEAD WRONG, and it is bad for business.

The CCO has maintained a valuable position in the marketplace as a place for providing vigorous free and flowing ideas and debate. That brand, that market position, that unique claim of distinction… is valuable. It would be a shame to see Editor abandon that market position.

As a regular contributor, may I ask Editor to please clarify the status of ELKAYBEE’s comment posting capabilities?

    • In case you didn’t noticed earlier this week our entire site went down for a couple of days. We lost some important information during the time site crashed. It looks like we lost some of our posters private e-mail addresses during the process. Our IT guy is presently working on restoring lost data during the time our site crashed.
