 WHAT:                                Gilda’s Club Evansville is hosting a Halloween Party for families in our community who have been impacted by cancer. Gilda’s Club will have a costume contest, Gilda’s Mad Scientist Lab, games, arts and crafts, and a magic show featuring Peyton the Magician.

WHY:                                   Families impacted by cancer are affected in many areas, including financially. Gilda’s Club goal is to provide a fun event for the families in Evansville and the surrounding area who have been impacted by cancer. It is the ultimate goal of Gilda’s Club’s to provide life-enriching programs for anyone touched by cancer and their families and friends, so that no one faces cancer alone.

“We want to provide a safe and fun Halloween party for those impacted by cancer,†Chelsey Woolsey exclaimed. “Come dressed up in your favorite costume, witness some magic, explore the mad scientist lab, and enjoy some spooktacular games! We hope to see you there, all ages welcome!â€

DETAILS:                             Gilda’s Club Evansville is a free cancer support community for anyone living with cancer and their families and friends. Gilda’s Club recognizes that social and emotional support is as essential as medical care when cancer is in the family and offers a variety of workshops, classes, groups and activities in a non-residential, home-like setting.
