Evansville Bluesman Boscoe’s Night in Hollywood is Tonight

Popular Evansville Blues guitarist Boscoe (Daniel France) has advanced to the national finals of the Guitar Center Battle of the Blues contest to be held August 18th at Hollywood’s Club Nokia. The show is tonight at 9 pm.

The City County Observer will be in the club covering the finals where the 6 (yes, only 6 in the whole country) blues guys will be competing to be America’s best.

  1. Thanks to the CCO for covering this. This dude is an amazing blues guitarist – one of the best electric blues pickers in the country, in my opinion – and the local area is quite lucky to have his caliber talent around.

    This guy is definitely a bright spot in the Evansville scene.

  2. Why didn’t the Evansville Courier write something about “Bluesman Boscoe”?

    I got it, to busy covering the Mayor’s weekly picking up trash day in the parks event.

    Don’t you just love when the local rag (Courier) don’t cover important news of social benefit!

    • In CP’s defense, they did write something about it after he won in Indy. I doubt they’ll be covering the finals in Hollywood though.
