    • Yes!! I have already made the arrangements. My ashes will be in an understated and tasteful urn, to be kept by whichever family member wins the Trivia game held on Christmas Day. I like to think of myself as a “travelling trophy.”

      • My neighbor died and was cremated this week and even though he told me he wanted his ashes spread all over his property, they buried them instead and put a can of beer in the urn with him.

        I went to the cemetery yesterday to remind him he needed to sip on the beer because it was going to have to last him a long time and he had already drank the son-of-a-bitch.

        Now I know what Hell must be like….

    The recent argument regarding softer tones on the border issue is driving me nuts. Trump is going to build the wall and enforce the law and deport as many illegal aliens as he possibly can! And end sanctuary cities. And try to end anchor babies. Just enforcing the law alone will cause millions of illegal aliens to leave.

    For crying out loud, when is the last time we had a president of EITHER PARTY willing to do anything at all about the borders? I think you’d have to go all the way back to Eisenhower.

    Other than that:

        • You folks aren’t getting an indictment of the Beast, no matter what almost happened to Dave Winfield. Her changes on issues were for the better and after due study and thought. She is a smart lady. Agent Orange changes 4 or 5 times a week now, sometimes several times a day. Often on a whim to keep from being pinned to a position, sometimes to placate the voters he is currently hemorrhaging. He is flailing and floundering. He still has all he ever had, his bluster and inheritance. That won’t be enough to get him there. He’s been made by the public. The numbers are hardening while he’s softening and hardening as he thinks is indicated. He is in fact Mr. Wilterman. No dosage of political Viagra can help him now.

          What Clinton Dynasty? What pass? They impeached Bill and took his law license for a while for lying about an affair, just like most people would. That is not ‘a pass’. It was a politically motivated perjury trap and so recognized by those good senators sitting in judgment, but the Clintons surely didn’t get a pass. The same jackals have been hounding the Beast for 30+ years and can’t touch her. She is as clean as the Pope in Rome. The same Pope Trump wisely saw fit to pick a fight with a while back. I’ve noticed the fiends are now starting to dog Chelsea.

          Trump cannot hire mainstream Republican political operatives because they won’t work for him. He put Bannon, the very worst the Dead Breitbart organization had to offer, on. Racist to the core, just the ticket to keep his base from peeling off. Still won’t be enough.

    TIME TO LOOK AHEAD. THIS ONE IS OVER.
    1. Every major indicator and poll shows Hillary Clinton winning the presidency (NOTE: Pressanykey is an infant, living in a pretend world. Read his posts. He is Baghdad Bob/Baghdad Press. Enough said.)
    So…..Let’s keep the damage as low as possible, and plan to make sure we win back seats in 2018 and 2020.

    2. There isn’t a snowball’s chance that Donald Trump will stop his bombast and preening. If he’s in trouble today, just bet that it’s going to be worse tomorrow. He’s a massive tool. He’s a cake eater. He’s a clown. And he’s a bad candidate. So just stop and enjoy watching a fool.

    3. It appears a political landslide will sweep the country. But expect Hillary Clinton’s administration to overplay its hand, handing Republicans a clear opportunity to repair the damage in 2018 and 2020.

    4. A massive educational program needs to be initiated on how to “split ticket” vote. Staying home is not an option. Turnout for the down-ticket races is key. Trump will drag down the entire ticket, but it is vital that Republicans maintain control of the Senate, if possible, and at the very least, the House.

    5. With a Republican House, attention-getting hearings can be held every week on the inevitable missteps in a Clinton administration. The domestic scene, from the economy to health care to trade to infrastructure, will quickly ripen for congressional oversight.

    6. Meanwhile, Republicans can shift focus to the 2018 midterms. Over the past 21 off-year elections, the president’s party has lost an average of 30 House seats and an average of four Senate seats.

    7. We may also reasonably expect many of the 25 nervous and vulnerable Senate Democrats up for election in 2018 to join forces with the GOP on spending and other issues. Targeting and wooing that group should start immediately both in Washington and in their home states.

    8. Time to move quickly to clean house at the Republican National Committee and change the primary rules that allowed Trump to win the nomination. The RNC must share major responsibility for the outcome on Nov. 8. Having allowed Trump to gain the upper hand over a very good crop of Republican candidates would be Exhibit A of its political malpractice.

    9. Reforms are needed now for the delegate selection process for 2020. All options, including creating superdelegates, finding ways to limit the number of candidates and setting later primary dates, should be on the table.

  8. Poor ole Priebus, trying to put a human face on his mutant candidate this morning. He knows Trump has likely cost him his reputation and job. After a certain point, like now, you just have to conclude that most of the people backing Rump don’t really believe in anything at all. Nothing, no God, no America, just nothing. Wishy-washy, easily swayed fools. Believe anything or nothing, same thing. Losers. They cannot know a true conservative because it is outside of their very limited ability to comprehend. Generally poor, beaten down and marginalized, they are ready to incinerate America, the very antithesis of conservatism.

    Putin is taking off his shirt and gassing up his tanks. I fully expect him to initiate some military incursions on behalf of that florid monstrosity shortly before our election — an election he has already meddled in.

    Rump’s current plan to suppress the voter turnout with his obnoxious, lying tactics will not close the gap. America will be better off without him and his racist Alt Right handlers. It can begin to heal the divisions after he is dismissed from the public stage.

    Donald Trump is not gaining any ground, in fact losing ground, among several groups of voters — female voters, blacks and Hispanics, and young voters, in particular. And, to be sure, they are all problems. But relatively speaking, his BIGGEST problem actually appears to be with a different group: CATHOLICS.

    I mean, Trump actually feuded with Pope Francis in the news – not a good choice, in fact, a bad idea.
    Here are the numbers:
    1. But Trump trails among Catholics by a huge margin. A new poll from the Public Religion Research Institute released this week shows him down 23 points, 55-32.
    2. A Washington Post-ABC News poll released earlier this month painted an even worse picture for Trump’s Catholic support. He was down by 27 points, 61-34.

    It’s also hard to overstate just how significant Trump’s poor performance among Catholics is. That’s because they comprise about one-quarter of voters in the United States (25 percent in 2012 exit polls) and are about as big a voting bloc as non-whites (28 percent) and independents (29 percent).

    Catholics are some smart Christians folks. THEY know a charlatan and a dangerous fool when they see it.
