  1. The Trump people feel picked on. They don’t know how hard it’s been for Hillary Clinton. She’s had to deal with these people her entire professional life dating all the way back to the Governor’s mansion in Arkansas. The great story here, for anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it, is this vast right-wing conspiracy has been conspiring against her husband since the day he announced for President. Except this time, they’re well-funded.
    (…smile)

    • Yes, big game hunter Shorty Chancellor is having a little event for Drumpf. Tickets start at $10,000 (you have to wash the cars at this level but get a T-shirt) and go as high as $250,000 for more access. Now that sounds like the kind of party that we’d all be welcome at. I guess at the quarter million dollar rung, the dung rung— some real pieces of shit populating this range, you get to come within a few feet of the Tanking Tangerine without Keith Schiller and his crew kicking your ass. You also get a small bottle of spray orange so you too can look like the greatest candidate ever for the duration of the election cycle. Another $100,000 gets you a vial of orange mist remover, it’s a bargain at that price. Guaranteed.

Can anyone imagine the people at one of these things conspiring to see to it that your best interests are carried out?

      • It will be a highly dispirited event. Trump is dispirited. Carville is right…Trump these days looks like a loser, he looks weak, he’s down in the polls. He’s not doing well. This event today….lots of lipstick on the pig. Lots of lipstick.

And you are right…populated not by passionate supporters, not by people who are in it to win it, instead by Donors hoping to protect their interests with a candidate they neither like, nor trust.

B…you didn’t pick up that classic Hillary VRWC talking point? It’s like, 20 yrs old or something. A gift from me to Pressanykey today.

        • I didn’t think much of it when she first said it, I thought she was just defending Bill for answering the call of his genes, but now it starts to ring true. They’ve sure stayed after her, incessantly, and it’s getting downright clownish. I’m not certain what her murder count is up to now, it was 70+ last time I looked. If The Beast maintains her pace she’ll need a water-cooled silencer to keep her barrel from wilting like the Tangerine.

      • Now don’t be hatin’, Bandana. It’s just a good business investment for these folks! Example: One of Chancellor’s shadow holding companies owns the other shadow holding company which owns Ameriqual which employs hundreds of extremely vulnerable recent immigrants and Safe House residents at slave wages and which has been given billions of dollars in preferential contracts providing MRE’s to feed the troops involved in our many, many military excursions over the past few decades.

Now, do you think a start up company in Podunk lil’ old Evansville would have been awarded these massive gubmint contracts if Steve-O hadn’t had the presence of mind to lube the wheels of commerce by hosting political fundraisers? Heck no! Little folks like you and I, with our quaint ideas about fairness, transparency, and ethics, would do well to look to our corporate overlords for how things are REALLY accomplished in this country.

        • Oh, you mean like that van that was transporting more passengers then
what it was intended, on I-69 recently? That employment agency up around
Washington that were hiring (arranging) those illegal residents work for
Chancellor’s investment? Pitiful, pitiful! And to think the presidential
candidates are wanting to reward the likes of these type, a lower income
bracket! Seldom do I pass that place on US41, but when I do, it will be giving
the middle finger salute to it!

      • I hear the Donald says that he is no longer running against Hillary. He’s now running against the media. Pence the Dense is lying through his teeth when he says he disagrees with Trumpy and doesn’t like the idea of blacklisting reporters. Does anybody remember the firestorm when he wanted to start a state news agency right here in Indiana? I do!

  2. To the prostestors in Milwaukee. Are you stupid? You pull a gun on a police officer and you will be shot. The man that was shot is NOT a VICTIM. There is an interview with the brother of the gunman. He blames the police for the violence. He stated that the police are here to serve and protect but they are killers. The same news story reports that in a 24 hr period prior to the police involved shooting there was 5 homicides in the city.
I dont see how destroying (setting a gas station of fire) is the payback for shooting a gunman. The gunman had in is possession an stolen gun and 500 rounds of ammunition. If you are setting fires and throwing bricks at police officers you are NOT protestors you are CRIMINALS. Putting lives endanger and destroying property.
We need LEADERSHIP. Either an elected official or a community leader to stand up. We need someone to stand up to these criminals and tell them that they are making the problem worst. The gunman should have not run away from the police. HE should not have a gun on him. If he had surrendered to the police he would be alive and in jail today.

    • Message needs to get out to the entire public.
Don’t be “STUPID”! When in present of law officers,
let them do their job. Keep your smart ass mouth
shut @ attitude in checked! If you feel you was wronged
      take it to the courts!

As far as those criminals (protesters), it is just hereditary.
Animals have been domesticated for centuries. They too,
fall back to their primal instincts when they feel threaten!

    • ‘To act on the tax benefit given annually to Evansville homeowners, …’ ~~~ Just something about the way that is worded. I think it’s the word ‘given’.

The city has penguins to pay for, not just those who have been strutting around downtown here for years but also those readying themselves to take up residence at our ‘zoo’. (http://www.tristatehomepage.com/news/local-news/mesker-park-zoo-plans-to-add-penguin-exhibit). Also, our ZooKeep might be ready to call in another expensive butterfly strike, straight from the Amazon to the floundering high dollar upkeep Amazonia. Can’t have too many of them fluttering around. The millenials like to gaze at them.

Anything Fly McGinn carries to the council should come under immediate and cynical scrutiny.

  3. “In reality, the issue is not the amount of the credit received by each of us. It’s the principle. It’s what taking it away represents in the bigger picture.” (Pamela A. Martin)

That is true, but there is also the factor of the city’s spending habits that come into play, and many citizens feel that is the problem. If the money were to go for a good use that benefits the majority of citizens, that would be one thing, but using it for “operations” only further incenses people that the people we elected to run our government have done nothing about changing their spending habits. They continue their spending and look for new ways to pay for it, like disallowing the homestead credit, and shifting to increased dependence on the County Option Income Tax. It is obvious that the city’s “proposed budgets” and their associated revenue projections are pitifully inaccurate. The City Controller is not up to the job, and a search for a competent professional with experience should have taken place long ago.

    • Butterfly McGinn stated on the open floor of the City Council last year that he supports increasing our county option income tax by 25% ..Pam should have considered injecting that bet of info.

  4. Pam’s observations are spot-on. She’s one of a growing number of people who crawled around in the snake pit that is Evansville politics in her younger days, so she knows what it’s like. Now, though, she owes nothing to anybody and has nothing to fear. It’s really fun to be a political free agent that the “powers that be” can’t do anything to.

    • This just proves the theory that a lot of political professionals, Republican operatives especially, are espousing. Trump has the poorly-educated Chumps convinced that the numbers that show up for the rallies actually represent a majority of Americans, instead of the small minority they really are. When he loses resoundingly, he will incite them to riot. Repulsive, but it is what his idol Putin wants. What a patriot!

  5. Walt Disney Presents;
