IS IT TRUE out going Governor Mike Pence and Vice Presidential nominee says he believes that Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb could best do the job replacing him? …we will see if the 22 member search committee agree with Governor Pence on July 26, 2016? …U S House of Representatives members Susan Brooks, Todd Rosita, and State Senator Jim Tomes have also submitted their names for consideration to this appointment?  …we have been told that a back room political deal has been cut concerning this appointment.  …Lt Governor Holcomb shall be selected as Governor Pence replacement in an extremely close vote and shall assume the duties as acting Governor on July 27, 2016?  …we also been told that acting Governor Holcomb will select a female as his running mate?

IS IT TRUE we are extremely disappointed to hear that State Auditor Suzanna Crouch had no interest in the the vacant Governor position?  …we are pleased that she has no interest in this position because we feel she is doing one heck of a job in State Auditors position?  …who knows what future political opportunities lay ahead for her?  …we can’t wait for the political drama to begin?

IS IT TRUE that Democratic U.S Senate Candidate Evan Bayh visited Evansville last Friday? …Bayh stated if elected, he will bring Republicans and Democrats  together?.  … Bath stated if he wins, he will work to create jobs, cut taxes, grow small businesses, and make college more affordable?   …doesn’t this sound like his campaign promises of the past?  …we wonder why he didn’t say anything about Obama Care, his official resident status since he left office and what was the major source of his income since he left office 6 years ago?

IS IT TRUE we hear that Evan Bayh better get ready to answer numerous questions concerning how he and his wife generated income after he left the U S Senate 6 years?  …it’s our guess they made millions of dollars sitting on major corporate boards and doing lobbying work for multi-mullion dollar corporations?   …we predict if Republican US Senate candidate Todd Young has his way these questions will haunt Mr. Bayh throughout the campaign?

IS IT TRUE that Evan Bayh has many million of dollars left in political war chest when he decided not to run again for the U S Senate 6 years ago?

IS IT TRUE it looks like President of the Evansville City Council Missy Mosby has done it again?  …if you check out  tonight City Council agenda you will not find not one reference allowing members of the public to make any comments about governmental issues that concern them?  …we are told this is a developing story?

IS IT TRUE that the head of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz,  has resigned as Convention Chairperson after emails surfaced that raised questions about the committee’s impartiality during the Democratic primary?  …we are extremely pleased that the politically toxic and know-it-all Wassermann Schultz has been finally shut down?  …we hope that the local Democratic Central Committee will have the same resolve to do similar too a couple of locally elected officials?

      Ok. Good joke. But there is an uncomfortable relationship, and this is not conspiracy I-E, between Trump’s Campaign, run by Paul Manafort and Russia’s Putin.
      “How’s that crap Don?”…you say? “Are you nuts you say…Don?” Briefly, these are the facts:
      Russia and Putin invaded Ukraine and literally stole the Crimean territory (no small potatoes) upset that his personal ally, Viktor Yanukovych, the Ukraine’s prime minister, was deposed and replaced in a new election. Literally, Russia could still run Ukraine with Putin’s Yanukovych, the country’s prime minister, in charge.
      And Putin’s guy was deposed with election in Ukraine? Yanukovcych literally fled under Russian escort to Russia. He is still here Indiana Enoch.
      Really? Trump’s Campaign Manager represented the old Russian ally, Ukraine’s Prime Minister? YES:
      1.. Manafort was consult on Yanukovych’s first presidential campaign in December 2004. Yanukovych was competing with pro-Western opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko, who was poisoned by dioxin during the campaign.
      2. That election was close, the results were invalidated and a re-vote was ordered. Manafort was hired by the campaign to “save” Yanukovych’s campaign and improve his image just two weeks before the new vote.
      3. Manafort then was hired for the 2006 parliamentary elections campaign to help Yanukovych’s Party of Regions.
      4. Manafort’s relationship with Russia’s Ukrainian ally Yanukovych lasted for years leading up to Yanukovych’s 2010 presidential campaign. Manafort made Yanukovych look more respectable, working with stylists and consultants to redesign his image.
      5. This is not a wild, fabricated conspiracy…..it is real, and it is well-documented. IN FACT: In an April 24, 2016, interview on Fox News Sunday, Manafort described his role in Ukraine as helping align Yanukovych and his administration with Western interests.

      So……Indiana Enoch…..fun joke. But you have to admit. This is really, really strange…..and it IS NOT unreasonable to wonder if the close relationship Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has with pro-Russian allies in Ukraine….and who now live in Russia for God’s sake.

      (One last thing…do you know that Trump’s campaign left in the RNC’s COMPLETE PLATFORM filled with much more conservative positions than the Trump campaign had….BUT…Trump changed only ONE thing: the provision that any attack by Russia in Ukraine would trigger weapons support from the United States? Trump’s team pulled that one out of the RNC Platform. Left everything else intact….but pulled that one. Something’s not right Indiana Enoch.)

I know a few “we are” have been talking about the Russians, but what is strange to me is that “ya’ll” seem more interested in a Trump conspiracy than Hillary’s own leaky spots and that what was leaked about the DNC is totally predictable. But if you feel Hillary is a better match against Putin than Trump, then checkmate, Somethings is not right. If you were a diplomat in the Ukraine and things were about to go nuclear with Russia, who would you want to be responsible for your security, Trump or Hillary? 7..8..9.. we’re all going to die, next stop is Hillary land.

  6. Trump’s unrequited love for Putin might still bear fruit. I think we can expect more KGB engineered terrorist attacks on Drumpf’s behalf as the election draws nearer. Putin fears the Beast but sees Drumpf for the soft tangerine he is. Sees him as a tough talking poseur whereas Putin’s the real thing.

    American politics are easy to meddle in for foreign governments. Looks at Israel and how they took ownership of our congress. Our politicians, at all levels, are so susceptible to manila envelopes that it’s almost too easy. Putin can just sit back on his horse and have some fun.

      • Having her damning emails swiped by Russian hackers isn’t too slick. Putting anything sensitive in an email isn’t too slick either, in fact it’s stupid. Never did like her. She got enough sympathy for some serious medical problems she had a while back and parlayed it into the chairmanship of the DNC. She then proceeded to use her power to make sure the Beast got the nomination, even though she’d have almost certainly got it anyway.

  12. The truth is that this election is going to be a nail-biter, because we have two sub-standard candidates. Actually, we have one sub-standard candidate and one catastrophic candidate. I see that the post-convention bump in polls has brought out the usually quiet supporters of Trump, the catastrophy candidate. They are welcome to argue the “virtues” of the amoral, ignorant, and dangerously narcissistic Trump against Hillary Cliinton. The truth is that she is by far the lesser of the two evils and I will be devoting time and energy to electing her. Go ahead and argue it out here, but I’ll be spending my time knocking on doors and registering voters.

    • …with Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party added to the race, combined with the lack of any Trump campaign infrastructure that can turn out voters other than angry white men, Trump has a tough row to hoe.
      The real Republican Party knows this.

  14. Is it true that there will be some informed taxpayers at tonight’s City Council meeting, in case any “un-funny business” is tried on the Homestead Tax? That more transparency in publication of the City Council Agenda would make “watch-dogging” the Councilors a lot easier? Is it true that the current Council President has irreparably damaged the trust of the voters in their elected representatives? That her support may be the kiss of death for other candidates in the future?

In fact….even Charles Krauthammer is: “Fox News commentator Charles Krauthammer on Sunday called the allegation of Russian meddling “troubling” and “plausible.” It is even well documented that Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, represented the old Russia’s Ukrainian Prime Minister/puppet ruler (who fled Ukraine and now LIVES IN RUSSIA) for 10 years as HIS campaign consultant.
