The public is invited to Ivy Tech Community College’s 12th Annual CRUISE-IN Saturday, July 23, from 4 – 8 p.m. at the main campus, 3501 N. First Avenue, Evansville.
The annual event is free and open to the public, and typically attracts between 200-400 visitors. Food will be for sale, provided by the Ivy Tech Community College Alumni Association.
Attendees can expect to see street rods, trucks, and other unique cars from around the Tri-State. The event is coordinated by students in Ivy Tech’s popular Automotive Technology program and is sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts.
Local companies such as Car Quest, Advanced Auto, Barton Automotive, Duell’s Evansville Hyundai and many more will be in attendance.

Free and Open to the Public
Awards will be presented for Best Domestic Car, Best Import Car, and Best Dyno Run. The CRUISE-IN will also feature live music provided by local favorite The Two Timers, door prizes, and opportunities to see vehicles run on Ivy Tech’s popular Chassis Dynamometer (a large machine that can simulate highway-driving conditions to test horsepower, torque and miles per hour).
