2) Japan’s Largest Steel Producer Adding Operations in Shelby County // June 21, 2016. Governor Mike Pence and Shelbyville Mayor Tom DeBaun join executives from Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation, Japan’s largest steel producer, as the company announces plans to establish operations in Shelbyville, creating up to 70 new jobs by 2021.

3) Governor Pence Joins INDOT and State and Local Officials to Kick Off Construction on $92 Million in I-69 Improvements // June 22, 2016. Governor Mike Pence joins State Senator Jim Merritt and local leaders from Fishers, Noblesville and Pendleton to kick off construction on a $92 million project to modernize Interstate 69 in Hamilton and Madison counties.

4) Governor Pence Visits Fort Wayne’s Shepherd’s House // June 22, 2016. Governor Mike Pence visits and tour Shepherd’s House, a transitional living center for homeless veterans struggling with addiction, in Fort Wayne. There, he honors Lonnie and Barb Cox, the founders of Shepherd’s House, with a Sagamore of the Wabash, one of the state’s highest civilian honors.

5) Governor Hosts Mile With Mike at Capital Campout // June 24, 2016. Governor Mike Pence hosts a Mile with Mike event at the Department of Natural Resources’ Capital Campout at Fort Harrison State Park. The Capital Campout is one of more than a dozen outdoor camping experiences hosted by governors across the nation to promote outdoor recreation as part of Great Outdoors Month 2016.
