Evansville Police are investigating a rash of car break-ins on the east side over the weekend. There were 6 break-ins in the Iroquois Gardens neighborhood and 3 break-ins in the area of Riverside and Villa.
There were two handguns taken from cars in the Iroquois Garden thefts.
The two sprees do not appear to be related. Police are reminding people to secure weapons in their homes and to lock their cars. Anyone with information on these thefts is asked to call 436-7979.
