1) Indiana Regional Cities Initiative // December 15, 2015. Governor Mike Pence and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) Board of Directors approve plans to award $126 million to support regional development plans in North Central, Northeast and Southwest Indiana. Subject to legislative approval, each region will receive up to $42 million in state matching funds through the Indiana Regional Cities Initiative to implement their plans, which aim to advance talent attraction through quality of place initiatives.
2) Indiana Neuro-Diagnostic Institute  // December 16, 2015. Governor Mike Pence unveils the state’s plans to build a new state-of-the-art neuro-diagnostic institute. This new 159-bed institute is projected to have the capacity to treat 1,500 patients each year. The institute, scheduled to begin serving patients in 2018, will be a key component of the state’s initiative to improve Indiana’s network of state-operated mental health facilities.

4) Companies to Add 600+ High-Wage Jobs for Hoosiers // December 17, 2015. Governor Mike Pence joins executives from 17 companies across Indiana to announce expansion plans that are expected to create a combined 648 new jobs in Allen, Boone, Clark, Hamilton, Marion, Shelby and Vanderburgh counties. These new jobs are anticipated to pay an average annual salary higher than $82,900, which is 85 percent higher than the state’s average wage.
