| On Tuesday, July 29, 2015 at approximately 4:00 p.m. a subject was driving a blue, Ford Mustang Convertible in the parking lot of Eastland Mall exposing his genitals.
The incident was first reported by a 16 year-old female. The juvenile’s mother posted a description of the subject and the vehicle on a website called Evansville Watch. A second female victim who had her 7 year old daughter with her also reported that the subject exposed himself to her as they left the mall. As a result of the posting on the website, a concerned citizen saw a vehicle matching the description and took a photograph of the license plate. That plate was turned over to EPD investigators. Snyder became a person of interest as a result of that information. On Friday, July 31, Snyder spoke with an investigator from the Evansville Police Department and made some admissions. On Monday, August 3, photographs of Snyder’s vehicle were released to the media. As a result of that media release an additional victim contacted investigators with information. As a result of the public indecency charges a PTR (Petition to revoke) warrant was issued for Snyder from a previous, unrelated charge. He surrendered himself to the VCSD on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 and is currently in custody. Kent Joseph Snyder – DOB: 08/10/1985 is being charged today with two counts of Public Nudity (Class B Misdemeanor) and one count of Public Indecency (Class A Misdemeanor). |
