A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words !

This picture was taken at yesterdays “Weaver and Burton” political fundraiser held at a local Pub on the Westside.  It looks like team “Weaver and Mosby” have some new supporters!

Many supporters of Mayoral candidate Gail Riecken are wondering when will she publicly say something about Weaver and Mosby open support of Mayor Winnecke.  Riecken supporters are waiting for her to show Weaver and Mosby that she has political back bone by demanding that they publicaly declare that they are in support of her or Winnecke.  Her supporters are also are saying if Weaver and Mosby announces they are supporting Winnecke’s for re-election, Mrs. Riecken should demand they resign from the Vanderburgh Democratic party.

    • We’re stuck with family. These people don’t have to campaign together. A better analogy would be judging them based on the actions of Clinton.

    Yet Mosby and Weaver remain very popular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Time to stop giving Adams a pass. He’s traded off his former occupation long enough. Tried to have it both ways and generally got away with it ’til now. He’s been co-opted just as much as Burton has. He wants to ‘see dirt fly and steel in the air’, he can’t wait to see the Winnecke Motel rise on Lot Wine Bottle. I can’t wait to see him out of office.

    Much of what happened to Burton has happened in the public eye. It started with grooming behavior, stroking him, telling how great it is he’s running. Then a fund raiser or two, now he’s proud to have his picture taken with those two clowns, next they’ll have him wearing one of their t-shirts. Very sad.

  15. So Lloyd, Carol, Missy, Weaver et al, went to Germania Maennerchor all dressed up in traditional garb as German Beer drinkers and Bar Maids. Well good for them. I’m glad they’re out amongst the people yukking it up.

    There is just one problem. This is what passes as good governance here in Evansville. Sizzle over substance Costumes, seeing and being seen and being in the “Cool kids clique”

    If the City’s Finance were in halfway decent shape and it’s citizens were getting the needed basic services I would good go for it! More power too ya.

    However, this isn’t the case and from my point of view they look like out of touch arrogant dweebs.

  16. Weaver, Burton, Adams too, The Mosby for Mayor before they’re through.

    These folks penchant for playing dress up is disturbing. We all knew something was very wrong when Winnecke donned that chicken suit early on. The community’s image has suffered for it.
