St. Mary’s is proud to have broken ground on our newest outpatient center – St. Mary’s Westside Crossing. Located just off the Lloyd Expressway at 100 Rosenberger Avenue, this brand new 25,000 square foot, two-story facility will include:
- A newly relocated and expanded Urgent Care West with two procedure rooms and six exam rooms (current facility has one procedure room, one observation room and four exam rooms)
- Occupational Medicine Services – DOT and pre-employment physicals, etc.
- Imaging services – CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound
- Lab Services
- A Medical Equipment and Retail Store
- A Bistro
- A Resource Center/Library
- Room for Eight Physician Offices (including family medicine, internal medicine and pediatricians)
The project has a 10 million dollar budget, and construction should be complete within a year.
Saw our inept little mayor turning a shovel full of dirt at this ‘groundbreaking’. If that’s all you can do, it’s what you do. It is apparently what he does. What was it he had to do with this facility again?
I hope our little, short, inept Mayor Winnecke has to use a shovel in his next job…after the next election!
He is best with shovels and giving away toasters.
I hope they have a better access in their design than what there is now. With the offset intersection and it’s close proximity to the LLoyd and the gas station, plus the traffic for McDonalds, Kohls, and Bob’s Gym, it will be a disaster in the making if they don’t. Perhaps, a bridge from the Kohls lot over the ditch would make it safer.
It’s good to see that our local hospitals are profiting enough to be able to build new facilities without additional funds from the local government.
