Evansville, IN—Ivy Tech Community College Southwest will host its eleventh annual CRUISE-IN Saturday, July 25th from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the main campus in Evansville. The annual event is free and open to the public, and typically attracts between 200-400 visitors.
Attendees can expect to see street rods, trucks, and other unique cars from around the tri-state. The event is coordinated by students in Ivy Tech’s popular Automotive program and is sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts.
Local companies such as Car Quest, Advanced Auto, PRC Customs, MATCO Tools, Barton Automotive, Vann Auto, Duell’s Evansville Hyandai and many more will be in attendance.

Free and Open to the Public
Awards will be given for Best Domestic Car, Best Import Car, and Best Dyno Run. The CRUISE-IN will also feature live music provided by local favorite The Two Timers, door prizes, and opportunities to see vehicles run on the very popular Chassis Dynamometer (a large machine that can simulate highway-driving conditions to test horsepower, torque and miles per hour).
