Today, June 1, 2015, the Indiana State Police announced there were 2,973 tickets issued for seat belt law violations over the course of the seat belt enforcement program that ran from May 15th through May 31st. Please note this number only reflects citations issued by Indiana State Police personnel. This is a preliminary number based on electronic ticket information. This preliminary number may increase with the reporting of hand written tickets.
