Bauerhaus files lawsuit against Vanderburgh County Democrat Party

Developing Story:

Bauers Grove Bauerhaus Incorporated has filed a small claims suit against the Vanderburgh County Democrat Party. Sources advise us that this action is filed because the tab for the Awards banquet held at the Bauerhaus of just under $3,500 has not been paid. The first hearing on this matter has been set for January 12, 2012 in the Vanderburgh Superior Court.

  3. The same Democrats that won’t support their own candidate for Mayor and earlier sued to force Linda Durham into office, are now sued for non payment of their bills. More fabulous “leadership” from the Owen-Robinson-Jarvis led Central Committee. Keep up the good work!

  4. granted this is still a free country and we are all still allowed to vote for who we like ,,,with that said if they dont pay their debts or obey the law then they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of a honest law enforcement agency and prosecutor. then their butts need to be ran out on a rail plus tarred and feathered …..imo

    • Yes! and given the events of the last 30 days….this surprises anyone? question is who is going to pony up the $3500 since they have given all their money to the competition.

      • Since Rick Davis was the featured speaker at the event in question, I will ask him to pony up the chump change to cover the outstanding balance. After all we got him that $44,000 from the IDP handlers. Rick just had a huge fundraiser the other night and he’s loaded now. Besides he still owes his assessment and when we retake the central committee next year you can bet candidate assessments will be mandatory and enforced. Dan Parker insists on that.

        • These guys have an employee that is responsible for that type of stuff. And I can assure you it is not Rick Davis. Maybe if Justin Alex Jarvis would do his job instead of helping Owens plot and scheme 24/7, this would have been taken care of. A little less time e-mailing invites to closed door meetings and more time taking care of his responsibilties is in order.
          I am also glad to hear that the recent Davis fundraiser was such a success.
          Davis explained that he did pay his assessment. He waited until the last minute so Owens and crew would not turn the money over to Tornatta. Sounds like a smart move to me. If the Vice-Chair of the committee is financiing the other party’s candidate, I do not think I would be real excited about giving the committee money either.

          • Read the Democratic finance report on the CCO. Zero, nadda zippo donations to their own primary winning candidate for Mayor. But, they gave $500 to the Mainstream Democrats PAC on 10/1/11. They also paid Bauerhaus $5,500 from 7-9/11 and still owe them $3,500 per the lawsuit filed against the Democratic party. That must have been a whopper of a bar bill! They also purchased “tech equipment” at Radio Shack. Probably a “fuzz buster” for their political operative Justin Jarvis’s use.

    7) The Bauerhaus is against consolidation
    6) To much time spent in secret meetings
    5) The money was donated to the Winneke campaign
    4) Alex Jarvis can’t legally drive to the post office to mail the
    checks
    3) Connie Robinson’s companies don’t have a supplies contract with
    the Bauerhaus
    2) To busy signing letters of endorsement
    Drum roll and the number 1 excuse for not paying their bills on time…

  10. If Davis had paid his assessment, this bill would have been paid. Davis has paid no assessment.

    • So they hold a fund rasier, charge way more than what it cost them, stiff the business, claim to have no debt, get sued for not paying the debt they claim they don’t have, and somehow it is Rick Davis’ fault. That is classic.
      Owens and crew tried to collect money from Davis that was surely going to be used to finance the Tornatta campaign. He paid it, but not until it would not be used by Tornatta. If the Vice-chair of my party was paying for ads for my opponent, I would not be to enthusiastic about giving them my money either.

      • Don’t worry about it so much. Whatever is left of the local Democrats next year, we at the IDP will reorganize with our handpicked pullets and pluck them naked to pay for ChickenGate.

      • Precinct committee people eat for free, although some still donate, I think they lost money on this, break even at best.

    • If Davis had paid his assessment 100% would have been used against him and 0% would have went for chicken.
