EVANSVILLE, Ind. ( February 6, 2023)
– The Great Lakes Valley Conference is set to host the tenth annual GLVC Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships, Feb. 7-11, 2023, at the Deaconess Aquatic Center, a $30 million state-of-the-art facility in Evansville, Indiana.
Ten men’s teams and nine women’s squads will vie for the 2023 GLVC Championship featuring approximately 450 student-athletes. Nine GLVC schools currently sponsor both men’s and women’s swimming and diving, including Drury University, University of Indianapolis, Lewis University, Lindenwood University, Maryville University, McKendree University, and University of Missouri-St. Louis, Truman State University, and William Jewell College. Missouri S&T currently fields only a men’s squad.
The Evansville facility can accommodate 960 fans in the spectator seating area, but, as has been the case since the inaugural event in 2015, all five days of action will be streamed live and free on the GLVC Sports Network (GLVCSN). The action can be viewed on GLVCSN.com or the many GLVCSN apps available on Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as OTT platforms on Roku, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.
Tickets for the GLVC Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships should be purchased in advance on the GLVC website.
