| The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Mayor’s Arts Awards. These prestigious awards are given annually, and recognize individuals who have made significant or innovative arts contributions to the community.
Nomination forms are now available at artswin.org/mayors-art-awards, and will be accepted through Thursday, May 8th. Committee review of the nominations will occur in May, with an award notification in June. The Arts Council will hold a public press conference to announce the award recipients on June 18th at 10am in the Bower Suhrheinrich Foundation gallery.
Winners of the Mayor’s Arts Awards will be honored at Tropicana Evansville on Thursday, August 21st.
