Around 3:00 p.m., on May 1, the Evansville Police Department (E.P.D.) was called to one of the local hospitals for a person who arrived at the emergency room that had multiple stab wounds. The male victim had been dropped off at the hospital by two people who left before officers could speak to them.Â
While officers were attempting to gain information on the stabbing, a call came into Central Dispatch from the 1600 block of S. Bedford. The caller advised they witnessed a male stab another male in that area.Â
Arriving officers were able to locate blood on the sidewalk around 1615 S. Bedford. E.P.D.’s Crime Scene Unit arrived to take pictures of the scene.Â
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, the victim refused to speak to officers about the incident. He is expected to survive his injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.Â
