DR RICHARD MOSS FORMALLY ANNOUNCES FOR CONGRESS

18

Last Saturday supporters of Dr. Richard Moss for Congress braved the dropping temperatures  at the Four Freedoms Monument in Evansville to help him formally launch his campaign for 8th District Congressman. The crowd cheered enthusiastically as he spoke of creating a new conservative Republican Party.

Dr. Moss said “Like many conservatives, I am disgusted with today’s “Stand-For-Nothing” Republican Leadership. Over the past year, they have caved on every major issue. Not one single critical issue did they stand up and fight for beyond meaningless Washington bluster and political theater. Republicans control both chambers of Congress thanks to us. They control overwhelming majorities of governorship’s and statehouses thanks to us. We didn’t send them there to work with Obama but to oppose him! Yet for the past year they have behaved no differently than a Democrat Congress would have. On the debt, Obamacare, amnesty, Loretta Lynch, the EPA, the Supreme Court, gutting the military, ISIS, Cuba, “fast-track status,” the Import-Export Bank, Planned Parenthood, securing the border, and the horrendous nuclear deal with Iran, the Republican leadership has been a reliable supporter of – Barack Obama. Republican leadership must be defeated beginning with House Speaker John Boehner and his loyal foot soldiers in the House including Congressman Larry Bucshon (8th Congressional District). On issue after issue, Larry Bucshon has voted with the Republican Establishment – and Barack Obama.

We can no longer stand for business as usual. We can no longer accept big government Republicans like John Boehner and his acolyte Larry Bucshon who campaign one way and vote another. We need a new Conservative Republican Party that stands firmly on the side of liberty, limited government, and the Constitution, a determined, principled Republican party, as Reagan said, “of bold colors not pale pastels.” We also need a true conservative Republican representing the 8th Congressional donservative paristrict – not another Establishment Republican like Larry Bucshon. We need someone who will oppose the Republican Establishment and the Democrats and fight for American workers, American citizens, and America herself – someone who will vote to undo tyhe damage of the Obama years and restore American greatness. With your help, I will be that representative.”

Dr. Moss is no stranger to conservatism as he has written articles published across the state for 10 years. An Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon from Jasper Indiana who also works out of Washington Indiana, he sees every day the effect the policies of this administration has on working class families.

He has spent extensive time volunteering, speaking and visiting in the middle east, Israel, South and Central America, Africa and Asia and has first-hand knowledge of the role America plays in the world stage. His supporters believe as I do that he is the man who can best represent the 8th District in Congress. 1. Great. Someone actually more conservative than Buschon. People aren’t sent to Washington to “oppose” people of another party. They are sent there to collaborate and solve problems that effect the American people. Gridlock benefits no one except the elected official. I won’t be voting in this primary, but if this is it, best of luck to Buschon.

    • You read my mind. The gridlocked Congress will be made worse by people like Moss. People who hate government have no business running for office. We should elect people who want to govern and do it fairly and decently. It doesn’t sound like this man has the potential to do that.

  2. Not impressive but definitely the same as Buschon in that respect. I agree with Random Thoughts. People in government must have the integrity to figure out how to work together for the benefit of the people. This idea of we will crush members of the other party as being the reason to get elected is a very sad commentary on our government and our elected officials. What a crock!

  3. Oh joy, another baby eating doctor from hell trying to replace the one you have now. ( get in my belly!) Creepy stuff wow, just wow.

  4. “The Prizzi’s will eat their children before they part with their money.” (…from a Jack Nicholson/K.Turner movie)

Wow. Fever pitch extremism from Moss.
I am amazed at right-wing fanatics. It is not about ideas. It is about getting power. There is no difference between this Moss guy and Buschon.
(Buschon is a mindless automaton, though. The lobbyists tell him what to say, and they write his Press Releases. So much for representing your constituents….)

  5. Compromise? Good. Lets start by agreeing to eliminate taxpayer funding to organizations who cut out baby’s livers, hearts, brains, etc. and sell them to the highest bidder, calling them “fetal tissue”. Every American should agree. Any compromise there, dems?
Let’s then dispense with the notion there should be amnesty for illegal aliens. Only those seeking cheap labor or prostituting themselves for votes will disagree.
How about it dems? Or is compromise only necessary for Republicans?

    • COMMONSENSE:….this line of reasoning (the no compromise thing) is the mantra of people who keep losing,
and never win anything. “But if only I could get everything I want, then we would ALL be fine.”
Sounds like a little kid who spends his life banished to his room.
He never wins. He’s never happy. And it’s always somebody else’s fault.

      • Really, Don. What’s your idea of compromise? Kinda like Obamacare was passed, eh?

        • Who cares what my idea of compromise is?
Commonsense, you are pitching the preposterous idea “no compromise” is viable.
Silly. For the reasons I wrote above.
It’s the position of a nasty little kid who, never wins anything, is never happy, and who blames everyone else instead of being personally accountable.

          • My “pitch” was the compromise. Actually, it should be something on which all decent people agree.
But hey, in the spirit of bi-partisanship, let’s compromise. I say babies should never be killed, cut up, and have their vital organs and body parts removed and sold. Dems (you) say it’s okay up to delivery. A reasonable compromise would be what? 8 months? 6 months? What’s your (dem) proposed compromise? Or are you not interested in compromise?

          • Well, you’re switching horses cause you’re not able to make a winning argument.
Don’t put words in my mouth.
Oh…the Supreme Court set those rules. Under a compromise.
I’ve made my point….that your point was childish.

    • Okay BP. I’ll bite. What is a “REAL” Conservative? These labels mean nothing to me and to many other people. Can a person be conservative in some ways and the opposite in others? How many point do you have to have to be a conservative? How many for “REAL” conservative? Your comment is pointless.

      • Perfectly stated. His rule is still pretty simple “Everyone but him is a liberal.”
