The North Pole needs more Elves!
December 14th will be the jolliest, immersive holiday experience for the family. At Elf Academy, you’ll discover all the magical secrets of being a North Pole Elf. During your training, you’ll:
  • Make toys at Santa’s Workshop
  • Slide down Magic Mountain
  • Have a Snowball Fight
  • Get your photo with Santa & Mrs. Claus
  • Bust a Move at a Dance Party
  • Brunch
  • Get your official Elf Badge!

Family Free Night
Create family memories and spark your children’s imagination during Family Free Night!
The public is admitted FREE on December 5th from 5 PM-8 PM to explore the Museum. Last admittance is at 7:30 pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years older.
Holiday Closures
cMoe will be closed on the following dates:
  • Christmas Eve (December 24)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)
  • New Year’s Day (January 1)
The Museum will be open on December 23rd and December 30th.
Happy Noon Years!
Can’t stay up till midnight? Party all day at the annual Happy Noon Year’s celebration!
Enjoy engaging activities, games, snacks, and a special performance by The Awesome Squad! Oh, and make sure to join us in the lobby as we count down to NOON with cMoe’s special balloon drop!
Activities included with admission:

Daily Educational Programs
December Theme: Winter – It’s almost Winter, and it is getting COLD outside! But there are plenty of wonderful activities and celebrations that take place in December to keep us warm and happy. This month we’ll be doing activities and games to help keep away the cold, as well as learning about the multi-cultural celebrations that are taking place around the world!
Daily activities are included with general admission and no registration is required.
Merry Members Night
Member Families, Donors, & Volunteers are exclusively invited on December 13th from 5 PM-7 PM!
Special activities will be happening throughout the Museum including:
  • Holiday themed crafts
  • A hot chocolate bar
  • Pictures with Santa
No reservations are necessary for this evening of holiday fun!
Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Actionâ„¢
Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Actionâ„¢ will be leaving cMoe on December 29th!
Created by Minnesota Children’s Museum, Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action is designed to promote the fun in and communicate the many benefits of physical activity.
Featuring the theme of action adventures popular in children’s books and movies, the homegrown exhibition invites visitors to jump into “Action Star Training” – play activities that build strength, coordination, balance and endurance.
