Troopers Arrest Evansville Woman for Parole Violation; Boyfriend Arrested for Various Drug Offenses

Vanderburgh County – Tuesday afternoon, August 27, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Indiana State Police executed an arrest warrant at 5322 North Kerth Avenue in Evansville for Mindy Jo Carroll, 33. She was wanted for a parole violation. When troopers entered the residence they located and arrested Carroll without incident. Carroll’s boyfriend, Gary Wilson, 45, was also present. While inside the residence troopers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of the property troopers found small amounts of meth, marijuana, two syringes and drug paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed all the drug items belonged to Wilson. They were both arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where they are currently being held without bond.

1. Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class D Felony
2. Possession of Meth, Class D Felony
3. Possession of Legend Drug, Class D Felony
4. Possession of Syringe, Class D Felony
5. Possession of Marijuana, Class D Felony
6. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor
