VICTORY THEATRE-THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 AT 7:00 PM TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY, MARCH 25 AT 10 AM

Evansville, IN – The Indiana Section of the American Water Works Association will host their annual Benefit Concert, one of the most anticipated events of the year, on September 22nd at The Victory Theatre. This year’s event features two dynamic musical groups of the sixties on one stage, one night!

Combining the best of folk music and rock and roll, with a touch of country, The Lovin’ Spoonful gave us hits such as “Do You Believe in Magic,” “Daydream,” “You Didn’t Have to be So Nice,” and the classic anthem for a hot July evening, “Summer in the City.” And…his first million-selling song, “The Gypsy Cried,” transformed choirboy, Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco, into Lou Christie – National Teen Idol! Over the decade of the 1960s, he followed with more amazing hits: “Two Faces Have I,” “Rhapsody in the Rain,” “I’m Gonna Make You Mine,” and “Lightnin’ Strikes.” Lou Christie’s stratospheric falsetto keeps on striking, again, and again, and again! You don’t want to miss this fantastic evening of pure nostalgia
