Background: Around 155 eighth graders from Tell City Jr./Sr. High School will participate in the annual Ivy Tech 8th Grade Tour on May 8. Students will tour the campus, participate in interactive lessons with local employers, and enjoy lunch. Students will learn about welding and use a virtual reality welding simulator. Waupaca, Perry County Memorial Hospital, and the U.S. Forestry service will also be there as a part of the interactive lessons.
