  2. Donald Trump supporters are like Sarah Palin’s sup­port­ers, who saw her lack of in­tel­lec­tual pol­ish as proof of sin­cer­ity. At her height, in 2008, she had al­most the en­tire Re­pub­li­can Party be­hind her. But in time she lost her place through childish an­tic state­ments, in­tel­lec­tual thin­ness and gen­eral strange­ness. It was clear she was not up to the task.

    General Kelly’s press conference yesterday showed us what a real leader looks like, he was brilliant and the true American White House leader. But more importantly, he showed how bad Donald Trump really is.

    Trump’s supporters are the same as Palins, and they will swallow whatever Trump wants to dish out. But there is a problem. There is no hard con­stituency in Amer­ica for po­lit­i­cal in­com­pe­tence, and that is what he con­tin­ues to demon­strate.

    In the end, Palin just wanted to be popular too. Mr. Trump should keep his eye on Sarah Palin’s social media profile. She has 1.4 million Twitter followers, and her Facebook page has a “Shop Now” button. Weak.

    • “He knew what he was getting into, and he volunteered anyway”, is the highest praise any serviceman who is killed in action can receive. It speaks to his selflessness, his sense of duty, and his love for his Country.

      The congresswoman, who made a total ass of herself, also profaned a process held in the highest esteem by those of us who served in the military, and for what, to manufacture some cheap political points at the expense of a fallen soldier and his family. What a truly disgusting woman she is. It can not be taken back, no apology on her part can undo the damage she has done.

      • Press,well said Sir. Mayor Rudy said the same thing about the 9/11 first responders. They knew the dangers and ran into harms way. The ultimate tribute to selfless service to Country and others. The Congresswoman is a shameless empty barrel in any color.
