    ALAMOGORDO – A Tularosa man attacked the Prosecutor and Counselor in a 12th Judicial District courtroom Wednesday for investigating and showing him guitly for inappropriately touching his 5-year-old live-in girlfriend’s daughter.

    Judge Jerry H. Ritter Jr. said, “This is an absolute outrage. Prosecutors understand and embrace the Constitutional right of a criminal defendant to be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. But when defendant is afforded that right, there should be respect and acceptance of the process. Attacking a Counselor in the process of carrying out his law and order duties is unconscionable.”
