WHATS ON YOUR MIND TODAY?

We hope that today’s “Readers Forum” will provoke honest and open dialogue concerning issues that we, as responsible citizens of this community, need to address in a rational and responsible way?
HERE IS WHATS ON OUR MIND TODAY: The attached cartoon ask the question why are our political parties blaming each other for the problems in Washinton?  Why do you think they are doing this?
Todays “Readers Poll” question is: Do you feel that the Evansville City Council should resend the “3-Minutes Governmental Censorship” speaking rule?
Please take time and read our articles entitled “STATEHOUSE Files, CHANNEL 44 NEWS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, READERS POLL, BIRTHDAYS, HOT JOBS” and “LOCAL SPORTS”.  You now are able to subscribe to get the CCO daily.

  1. It’s embarrassing watching Pence at the Olympics. He looks like a doddering fool. They’re eating his lunch, like some clueless chaperone. They don’t even want him there. Trump is withdrawn and sent out a dog to do the nation’s business. America looks weak.

  2. Tax “reform” update.

I realize the 1% on both sides “buy” the Party they can squeeze the most juice out of, but whenever you add a couple trillion to the national debt with the sole purpose of doing just that, Democracy gets kinda blah.

The Koch brothers get to keep a cool billion a year more because of “reform” and are pledging to spend $400 million of that in this midterm to protect Republican majorities in congress. 60 percent more than they spent in 2016.

Shelden Adelson gives a record amount to Trump’s inauguration and WALLA, Mop Head wants a war with Iran.

Like my uncle Ben Franklin said, “We have a republic, if we can keep it.”

    Yeah buddy….

    • McConnell and Ryan brought the real Republican donor base results. The Chamber if Commerce. The Koch brothers. Trump? Trump is good for sleazy casino owners like Wynn elegiac forces his employees to have sex in front of him, Trump pays pornstars $130,000 to have sex with him while his wife Melania is home with their baby son, and all Trump can do is go after more casino owners who want the war Regulator is talking about here. And the Insane Trump Posse? They cheer this casino crap. They are disgusting.

  3. it is amusing how the tea party has been totally castrated by the republican establishment. no one believed them when they said “racists? we aren’t racists! we believe in eliminating debt and smaller government!” oh really? they didn’t do crap when mcconnell and ryan bowled over trump and passed a two year spending bill. no tea party person in here complained about the spending bill. you never ever hear the tea party voters pressing smaller government and lower debt in here either. they were right in the beginning about those guys. what they were was always obvious.

    • You left out the biggest outrage, Eric. Amnesty for illegal aliens. Can’t speak for those you call Tea Party persons but I, for one, am appalled at the spending bill. And I agree with you about Ryan and McConnell. As long as they are the Republican leaders in Congress nothing will change. But the spending pales in significance to the loss of sovereignty amnesty will bring.
The thing is, we have gone through an election where the President and his party’s nominee have used government agencies (FBI and IRS) to try and defeat a political opponent and, after his election, get him thrown from office. I would think that should bother you at least as much as Ryan/McConnell carrying on the obscene spending dems put in place the last 8 years.

      • This guy is not afraid of Obama or Hillary. This guy would like to see justice, even when it involves dems.
This guy is, however, very uneasy about dem voters who don’t have a clue.

  4. As with most anti-American liberals, they prefer to bash the “backward” United States in the mecca of all freedoms for all peoples, the Middle-East:

“Hollywood star Robert De Niro took aim at the Trump administration’s stance on climate change, telling a packed audience in the Middle East that he was visiting from a “backward” country suffering from “temporary insanity.””

  5. Enough!!!!! Enough about Rocket Man’s sister at the goat romp Olympics. Really, our 1st medal is some kind of snow boarding!!!! Quit playing politics, pull out of this world wide joke, tell N Korea the facts. Best thing we could do, kidnap the bitch and say she tried to harm the VP. How the f–k does the liberal media even get a mention?
