MISSION STATEMENT

The Evansville Sports Corporation is a 501(c)3 Not-for-Profit dedicated to enhancing the image, economy, and quality of life of the greater Evansville area through the attraction, creation, and promotion of high profile sporting events.  Evansville takes pride in providing a memorable championship atmosphere for all events, big or small. Our devoted volunteer base, great venues, and central location make hosting an event in Evansville a pleasant experience and one that athletes and spectators won’t soon forget.

This group seemly have some movers and shakers in support of their mission.  The list of names of the Evansville Sports Corporation Board Of Directors posted on their web site is extremely interesting.  We are pleased with the way that this group coordinated the Division II-Elite Eight (8) National Basket tournament at the Ford Center?

What We Do

The Sports Corporation is committed to bringing events to the community that showcases our many great assets. Many times, a bid is required to bring those events in. We specialize in creating winning bids which includes everything from securing support from elected officials, coordinating with venues, communicating with governing bodies and local organizations and much more.If you think an event might be a good fit for the community and there is a bid process that must be followed in order to secure that event, please give us a call at 812-434-7699.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Evansville Sports Corporation is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the Evansville area through the events we bring to the community.  Here are some of the ways we’ve done just that:

YOUTH CLINICS

GLVC-Youth-ClinicCreating opportunities for our local kids to interact with the players and coaches participating in Evansville Sports Corporation events is an extremely important component of what we do.  More than 1100 local kids have participated in one of several youth clinics we have organized in conjunction with the events we have hosted and that number continues to grow each year.
