Ivy Tech Evansville Cyber Security Students Place in Competition

Over the past weekend Ivy Tech Evansville Cyber Security students participated in the fall season of the National Cyber League (NCL), an online puzzle-based, capture-the-flag style cybersecurity competition. In the team competition, Jason Reese  (Newburgh), Andrea Wall (Newburgh), Nicholas Paladini (Evansville), Matthew Martin (Evansville), Eric Frumkin (Evansville), and Joseph Gerhardt (Evansville) placed 20 out of 242 teams in the silver bracket (88 out of 781 teams overall).

Ivy Tech is certified by the National Security Agency (NSA) as a Center for Cyber Security in education for two-year colleges and is one of the few two-year colleges to offer this program.
