City Election Results
Following demanding campaigns, Democrats swept the city elections November 5, winning 7 of 9 City Council seats and maintaining the City Clerk position. All four of our incumbents (denoted with *) were re-elected and we picked up three new seats on the Council. Congratulations to our newly elected and re-elected public servants! They are shown below and will be sworn in New Year’s Day 2020.
***Mosby has been certified the winner in Ward 2 with a margin of 19 votes but it must be noted that a lawsuit has been filed in Vanderburgh County Circuit Court seeking a recount in the race between Missy Mosby and Republican Natalie Rascher. The recount is scheduled for December 10.
