Evansville Museum History Extravaganza
History Extravaganza will take place at the Evansville Museum on Sunday, September 10, from noon until 4 p.m. Highlights of the day include: antique bicycle exhibition and demonstrations by the Indiana and Kentucky chapters of the Wheelmen, informational booths and activities from many local historical organizations, demonstrations by the Society for Creative Anachronism, speakers on local history including, Dennis Au on the McCurdy Hotel, Harold Morgan on local transportation history, Stan Schmitt on the 1947 Evansville Centennial Parade with historic film footage in cooperation with the Vanderburgh County Historical Society and Joe Engler on the growth of schools in Evansville.
Ticket pricing is $12 for adult not-yet-members, $8 for youth not-yet-members, and free for members.
