Successful Presidential candidates always have to meet the threshold of being “likable.” That you would feel comfortable “sharing a beer or coffee” with the guy/girl. George W. Bush scored very high in likability with the white male voters who now fawn all over Donald Trump leading to Bush’s win.
(This is one of Hillary’s biggest problems with white male voter group. Don’t feel comfortable sharing time with her. Professional women on the other hand? Solidly in Hillary’s corner. Hard as a rock. And women voters turn out and vote more than men. And women voters elect Presidents. Not men.)
Carly Fiorina is gonna struggle, struggle, struggle in the “would enjoy sharing a beer with her” likability. Its why Rush Limbaugh will never say anything positive about her in spite of his agreeing with everything she says. He does not like professional women. Along with everyone who admires Trump, they don’t like Fiorina…because she’s a smart, professionally successful woman. (Limbaugh always calls them “babe” to demean their professional qualities. He is threatened by professional women.)
Fiorina’s problem compared to Hillary though is damning. She’s not likable to America women voters, or with immigrant-American voters, men voters…you get it….who is left? Says the right things. But just don’t like her.
Fiorina has little chance, if any, of ever winning a general election. (Same is true for Trump.)
Same for jeb. He should fold.
Fiorina’s problem is not HP or Lucent. It’s that she is in favor of legalizing millions of illegal aliens.
Can’t these Republican candidates learn anything from the Trump phenomenon? He’s not leading the pack because he’s handsome, is the best speaker, has the best grip on the issues, or has the best personality (he’s a true New Yorker; abrasive.) No, Trump is leading because he dares tell the truth about the massive illegal alien, open border problem we face, and what to do about it.
Fiorini = just another republican hypocrite. She opposes the minimum wage because she believes capitalism “pays people what they’re worth.” Was she “worth” millions to bankrupt companies and put thousands out of work? No. She’s a bigger idiot than trump and that’s really saying something.
