After nearly 22 years, operating as Indiana’s first riverboat casino, Tropicana Evansville is scheduled to cut the ribbon on their new 75,000 square-foot land-based casino and entertainment facility on October 20, 2017 at 10AM CST.

From the spectacular multi-colored light panels on the casino’s exterior along Riverside Drive to the interior’s shimmering beaded ceiling features, everything about ourEvansville hotel’s new land-based casino and entertainment facility will provide guests with a world-class gaming experience.

The new Indiana casino encompasses 45,000 square-feet of gaming space on one level and is easily accessible from either of Tropicana Evansville’s two first-class hotels, the parking garage and the executive conference center.

The casino floor, covered in a rich, vibrant multi-colored pattern, will feature 1,175 slot games, in a myriad of themes and denominations from a penny to $100. Table players will find a variety of games on over 30 live tables including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mini Baccarat, Mississippi Stud, Three Card Poker, High Card Flush and Criss Cross Poker. A dedicated Poker Room will offer an exclusive gaming experience and players wishing to take winning to a new level will enjoy the High Limit Room which features a full bar.

The grandeur of the casino floor is only rivaled by a spectacular high-tech video wall display spanning 150 yards in length and showcasing a series of graphic masterpieces throughout the day and night.   Visitors will also find new contemporary wayfinding signs and attractive digital displays highlighting property promotions and entertainment and dining options.

Included in the $50 million land-based project are two new restaurants and a new entertainment lounge which will open with the casino on October 20.

Tap House restaurant & bar will serve lunch, dinner and late night menus and will provide guests with a new and convenient dining option.

“We are extremely excited to be able to offer our guests an upscale, yet casual dining experience just steps away from their favorite games. We’ve not been able to do this in our 22 years of operating on the riverboat,” says John Chaszar, General Manager of Tropicana Evansville.

The Tap House menu will include an impressive list of popular dishes with bold new flavors such as a wild Alaskan Silver Salmon salad, tender smoked pork Tacos de Carnitas, a 12-ounce center cut Black Angus ribeye steak, Louisiana BBQ shrimp with jalapeno grits and a create-your-own burger with a variety of cheese, meat and vegetable options.

The main dining room seats 176 and some will get an up-close view of Executive Chef, Chuck Subra and his culinary team in action through a large louvered opening into the kitchen. Lunch and dinner are served daily starting at 11AM and a late night menu is offered on Fridays and Saturdays from 11PM – 2AM.

Of course, this Evansville restaurant’s name is the key feature of this outlet. An impressive 36 tap handles will pour a rotating selection of seasonal beers, half dedicated to Indiana and tri-state regional favorites. At the bar, guests will be able to see available beer choices through SteadyServ® digital technology which also monitors barrel volume and freshness dates.

“Tap House is the first bar in the region to utilize this type of system and we believe beer lovers will appreciate how SteadyServ® will enhance their experience here,” says James White, Director of Food & Beverage at Tropicana Evansville.

Tap House will also offer a wide selection of fine wine and premium liquor. Bar hours are 7AM – 2AM daily. For special occasions and business gatherings, Tap House offers a private dining room for approximately fifty people which may be reserved in advance. Tap House guests must be 21 years of age and smoking is not permitted in this restaurant.

Tropicana Evansville will soon be home to downtown Evansville’s only 24-hour restaurant, The Deli.

“The Deli is unique because of its convenience. Not only will visitors to our casino enjoy it, but our hotel guests and downtown residents will find it handy too,” says John Chaszar.

Authentic New York-style fare will be served in a bright and inviting contemporary setting of white tile and modern wood accents amid an array of stylish light fixtures.Digital menus display a variety of options including hot and cold deli sandwiches, all beef hot dogs, polish sausage, personal pan pizza, fresh vegetable and fruit salads, and soup. Sides include potato salad, Cole slaw, potato chips and whole pickles.

“The menu we created for The Deli is a big step above your average sandwich shop. That’s because we’re only using Boar’s Head® meats and cheeses. The pastrami and Swiss on wheat berry Vienna bread, the corned beef Reuben on rye with sauerkraut, the Philly cheesesteak made with Angus beef, and the spicy Italian-style beef are just a few of the generous, mouth-watering specialties you’ll find here,” says James White.

A special “grab & go” menu provides faster service, including donuts, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, cheesecake, bagels and an assortment of candy bars.

In addition to Coca-Cola® products, hot and cold coffee drinks will be served at The Deli including Americano, espresso shots, lattes, mochas, caramel macchiatos, cappuccinos, frappes, chai and tea.

The Deli will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for guests of all ages. The Deli’s grill will be open daily from 10AM – 2AM. Seating is provided for up to 36 people and carryout will be available. Smoking is not permitted inside The Deli. For menu details, visit www.TropEvansville.com
