Twice each month, Tropicana Evansville allows Team Members to wear jeans in exchange for a donation to a pre-selected charity. In October, Team Members dressed down to lift up man’s best friend at It Takes a Village Canine Rescue with a check for $500.
It Takes a Village is a volunteer-only, NO-KILL dog rescue center. They help animals that have been abused, abandoned or neglected and operational costs can run between $25,000 and $30,000 each month. This non-profit organization is always in need of dog treats, chew toys, trash bags, dry puppy food and collapsible crates. This donation will help purchase these much-needed items.
