Evansville Police have arrested a second person in the incident involving a witness in the Cedric Watt murder trial. Police arrested 23 year old Amanda Marie Walker for Obstruction of Justice during their investigation into a Monday night incident at 1310 S. Governor.
Police were called to the home after Quinton Jennings knocked on the door and announced that he was a police officer. The resident opened the door and was attacked and threatened by Jennings. The resident was scheduled to testify the following morning in the Watt murder trial. Jennings was arrested later that night on several charges and is in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
Police interviewed several people and believe Amanda Walker had made several threats towards the witness via texts and voicemails. A witness to the Monday night attack told investigators that Walker was outside the home and heard Walker send Jennings to the correct house after he rang the doorbell on the wrong house.
Amanda Walker was arrested for Obstruction of Justice CL-D felony.
