“Right Jab And Middle Jab And Left Jab” September 16, 2019

Right Jab And Middle Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have a couple of commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give our more opinionated readers exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and Middle Jab and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “MIDDLE JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “LEFT JAB” is a liberal view, “MIDDLE JAB” is the libertarian view and the “RIGHT JAB is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments in this column is free to do so.

Todays “Readers Poll’ question is: Should State official be held harmless because of the extreme drop in the state ILEARN test scores?

  1. Woops! Lame stream media fail, again:

NYT updates Kavanaugh ‘bombshell’ to note accuser doesn’t recall alleged assault

The New York Times suddenly made a major revision to a supposed bombshell piece late Sunday concerning a resurfaced allegation of sexual assault by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh — hours after virtually all 2020 Democratic presidential candidates had cited the original article as a reason to impeach Kavanaugh.

The update included the significant detail that several friends of the alleged victim said she did not recall the purported sexual assault in question at all. The Times also stated for the first time that the alleged victim refused to be interviewed, and has made no comment about the episode….

  2. So little racism that liberals have to fake it:

Former NFL Player Accused of Vandalizing His Own Business with ‘MAGA’ and Racist Slurs

A former NFL player has been arrested in Georgia for vandalizing his own business with racist slurs and the phrase “MAGA,” to make it appear as if Trump supporters and racists attacked him….

  3. Another reason to hate soccer:

WATCH: Soccer Fans Boo After U.S. Armed Forces Enlistees Promise to ‘Obey’ President Trump’s Orders

A large segment of fans booed as a group of U.S. Armed Forces enlistees was sworn-in on the 18th anniversary of 9/11 this week, at a ceremony that took place at a National Women’s Soccer League game in Oregon….

The NWSL game featured the Portland Thorns and the North Carolina Courage. Notably, the contest also took place in Portland, Oregon, a hot spot for violent Antifa activists and other far-left groups. ..

Several U.S. women’s National Team players with extremely critical views of President Trump, such as Megan Rapinoe, either have played or still play in the NWSL.

    • American Soccer Has a Dangerous Love Affair With Antifa Thuggery

There’s a war brewing between soccer fans and Major League Soccer (MLS) that could seriously stall the league’s growth. A flood of progressive fans from independent supporter groups are fighting tooth and nail to show their support at stadiums for the violent Antifa movement, thrusting their fringe political beliefs onto a family-friendly fan base just looking to watch a competitive soccer match. …

Members of the Timbers Army, the fan club supporting the Portland Timbers, continued to fly the flags, even staging a 33 minute silent boycott during a pivotal match against their bitter rivals, the Sounders. The silence played towards the Sounders’ favor, earning an early goal and eventual win. But these fans protesting to support Antifa don’t care much about the teams, they care about their own political viewpoints….

The 107 Independent Supporters Trust, the nonprofit group behind the Timbers Army and Rose City Riveters, declared in a statement: “Our fight is against white nationalists, white supremacists, and others that seek to bring hate and violence to our stadium, city, state, and country.” …

  4. Joe Biden Tells Bizarre Story About How He Once Faced Down A Gang Leader Named “Corn Pop” (VIDEO)

A prominent black journalist has expressed extreme skepticism about a story Joe Biden told, in which the former vice president said he stood up to a local gang leader at a swimming pool in 1962.

Biden has regaled audiences with parts of the story several times, which he claims took place when he was a lifeguard at a predominantly black pool in Wilmington, Delaware. He remembers how when he kicked a local gang leader named “Corn Pop” out of the pool for violating the rules, Biden was warned that Corn Pop was going to be waiting for him after work with a switchblade.

Biden said he prepared himself by wrapping a metal chain around his arm. Corn Pop was waiting by Biden’s car “with three guys and straight razors. Not a joke.”

“And I looked at him, but I was smart then, I said first of all, I said when I tell you to get off the board you get off the board, and I’ll kick you out again, but I shouldn’t have called you Esther Williams, I apologize for that,” Biden said, revealing Corn Pop was stunned by the apology and decided to not attack him….

  5. ILHAN OMAR’S MINNESOTA: Roving Mobs Target Drunk White People in Minneapolis for Vicious Gang Assaults

…Business owners have complained about the gang beat-downs, which appear racially motivated. One recent instance occurred at Target Field Plaza and happened in broad daylight. It involved a group of African-American men targeting a lone Caucasian individual, knocking him unconscious, stomping his body, throwing a potted plant on him, and then crushing him with a bicycle during a robbery….

  6. Pocahontas update:

Elizabeth Warren a Direct Descendant of Militia ‘Indian Fighter’ Who Fought Seminole Tribe

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) great-great-great grandfather Jonathan Crawford served in Major William Lauderdale’s Battalion of Tennessee Volunteer Militia from November 1837 to May 1838, a six month time period during which it fought two battles in Florida against the Seminoles….

Lauderdale’s battalion fought against the Seminoles at the Battle of Loxahatchee River, in present-day Jupiter, Florida, on January 24, 1838. Then on March 22, 1838, they fought against the Seminoles again at the Battle of Pine Island, in present-day Fort Lauderdale….

Jonathan Crawford may not have been the only ancestor of Elizabeth Warren who either rounded up or fought Native Americans.

Last month Rebecca Nagle, a Native American progressive activist who has been critical of Sen. Warren’s false claims of Native American ancestry and the professional benefit she obtained from making those claims, stated that William Marsh, another great-great-grandfather of Warren, also served in the Tennessee Militia that rounded up Cherokees in 1836….

  7. Delaware 2017: Joe Biden Recounts Nearly Wrapping a Chain Around a Gang Leader Named Corn Pop’s Head

…“Corn Pop was a bad dude, and he ran a bunch of bad boys. Back in those days, to show how things have changed … if you used pomade in your hair, you had to wear a bathing cap,” Biden said. “He was up on the board and wouldn’t listen to me, so I said ‘Hey, Esther, you, off the board or I’ll come up and drag you off.’”

Corn Pop, according to the former vice president, did not take kindly to being called “Esther” — an “emasculating” reference to the 1950s swimmer Esther Williams, as the Washington Post noted — and promised to “meet” him outside. Biden realized he had to take Corn Pop seriously when he purportedly saw the gang leader waiting around for him with three other guys carrying straight razors.

In his 2007 autobiography, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, Biden admitted that he specifically signaled out Corn Pop for violating the pool’s rules to show he “wasn’t an easy mark.” The former vice president also wrote that his first instinct was to call the police, but he was convinced by the pool’s mechanic, a white former Navy sailor named Bill Wright, that doing so would ensure he would never be trusted by the neighborhood’s black community. Instead, Wright suggested Biden confront Corn Pop and the others with “a six-foot length of chain.”

“I looked at him, but I was smart then,” Biden told the audience in 2017. He said he told Corn Pop, “first of all, when I tell you to get off the board, you get off the board, and I’ll kick you out again, but I shouldn’t have called you Esther Williams. I apologize for that. … I apologize for what I said.”

The apology seemed to diffuse the situation, much to Biden’s relief.

“He said ‘okay,’ closed his straight razor, and my heart began to beat again,” the former vice president said…..

  8. Hundreds of Marylanders Protest Sanctuary City Policy After 8th Illegal Is Arrested for Sex Crimes

….At least eight illegal aliens have been arrested in Montgomery County over the past two months for sex crimes, a list that includes 26-year-old Oluwakayode Adebusuyi, a Nigerian national reportedly living in the U.S. unlawfully when he was arrested on August 28 for sexually assaulting the woman in his car while she was drunk. Just weeks before, two illegal aliens from El Salvador were arrested for allegedly repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl, a horrifically violent account that has reportedly spurred Montgomery County officials to consider at least partially cooperating with ICE detainers by giving ICE a heads up when certain criminal aliens are released from custody…..
