“READERS FORUM” MAY 5, 2018

7

We hope that today’s “Readers Forum” will provoke honest and open dialogue concerning issues that we, as responsible citizens of this community, need to address in a rational and responsible way?

HERE IS WHATS ON OUR MIND TODAY?

In the private sector when a person is accused of illegally taking funds from an existing business to pay personal debts, your arrested for misappropriation of funds.

In Evansville when a person is working at a non-profit business and is accused of illegally taking funds from an existing non-profit business to pay personal debts you’re let go and the former employer wishes you well.

WHATS ON YOUR MIND TODAY?

Todays “Readers Poll” question is: Are you planning to vote in the upcoming Republican primary?

Please take time and read our articles entitled “STATEHOUSE Files, CHANNEL 44 NEWS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, READERS POLL, BIRTHDAYS, HOT JOBS” and “LOCAL SPORTS”.  You now are able to subscribe to get the CCO daily.

  1. I understand that if you say something unflattering about the Evansville Police Department on this website, and they find out who you are, and where you work, they will get your employer to start abusing and harassing you on your job.

Given this reality, I would like to say F*@!K the EPD and anyone else who engages in such illegal, corrupt, and unethical behavior. Such is not the free society that our constitution guarantees. Evansville is a corrupt sh*!hole.

Always remember, under blue there is yellow.

    I remember Mario Savio.

  2. Yesterday IIT concerning Jim Raben’s popularity shows Dem. or Rep. a good public servant is to be supported. James is great for the county and is popular for a reason.

    • He told Dave Mosby NO No No on adding another jail pod when it was built- Nope, $35 mill is all you get. Now how much will it cost to add that pod- Good Ole Jim – $$$$$$$$

  3. My favorite CCO post of the past week, he nailed this. Or more importantly, the WSJ nailed it this week. From Dan Wilzbacher, on Friday:

“President Trump’s biggest supporters, the Editors of the Wall Street Journal, said this this morning. It is the most damaging thing ever said by the WSJ about Trump:

WSJ: “Does Trump want Americans to believe him in a genuine crisis?”
“President Trump’s public deceptions are surely relevant to his job as President, and the attempted cover-up going on right now with Trump and Giuliani, on several issues including payments to a pornstar actress, has done greater harm than any affair would have. Mr. Trump asked Americans, not least his supporters, to believe his claims about the payments. They were false and conveniently so in putting the onus on Mr. Cohen.

Now, as more of the story has emerged, President Trump wants everyone to believe a new story that he could have told the first time. Again, he could have told this story, the first time.

Mr. Trump is compiling a record that increases the likelihood that few will believe him during a genuine crisis—say, a dispute over speaking with special counsel Robert Mueller or a nuclear showdown with Kim Jong Un.

On Korea, on anything, Mr. Trump should worry that Americans will stop believing anything he says.

    • He has told no lies that have had any negative effect on this country. The real liars were Clinton, Bush and Obama, lies that had devastating consequences to this country. Still a better choice than Clinton. Best president I’ve seen since Reagan. If men were into the kiss and tell habits of women wonder what they would have to say about Obama? The man has had to fight his own battles and we need to take a good look at our college and public school employees as being part of the dark state. Trump has exposed some serious problems in the public sector.

  4. Cut my comment on Raben – CCO is slanted. Read the minutes of Mosby and Raben debating the jail $35 million. Now we need the extra pod
