“LEFT JAB AND RIGHT JAB”

“Right Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have two commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
Joe Biden and Ronald Reagan’s comments are mostly about issues of national interest.  The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give Mr. Biden and Mr. Reagan exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “Left Jab” is a liberal view and the “Right Jab is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments of the two gentlemen is free to do so.

  1. Never to be reported by CNN or MSNBC:

Islamic terrorists have carried out an estimated 76 attacks in nearly 15 countries since the beginning of Ramadan this month, killing at least 364 people and injuring 404 others in the first two weeks of the holiest month for Muslims, a Breitbart News tally shows.

That means, on average, jihadis killed at least 25 people and injured about another 30 each day since Ramadan began at sunset on May 5. This year, the holy period is expected to last through sundown on June 4.

  2. With the Collusion Delusion unraveling, the rats are fleeing the sinking ship and turning on each other:

Loretta Lynch accuses Comey of misrepresenting key Clinton probe conversation, was ‘quite surprised’ by his testimony

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch has flatly accused former FBI Director James Comey of mischaracterizing her statements by repeatedly alleging, under oath, that Lynch privately instructed him to call the Hillary Clinton email probe a “matter” instead of an “investigation.”

Lynch, who testified that Comey’s claim left her “quite surprised,” made the dramatic remarks at a joint closed-door session of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees last December. A transcript of her testimony was released on Monday by House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins, R-Ga.

The episode marked the latest public dispute to break out among high-level ex-Obama administration officials, as multiple government reviews of potential FBI and Justice Department misconduct continue.

In a June 2017 interview under oath with the House Intelligence Committee, Comey said Lynch had pressed him to downplay the significance of the Clinton email review in September 2015, just before a congressional hearing in which Comey was expected to be asked about the investigation. Comey said the moment led him to question her independence and contributed to his decision to unilaterally hold a press conference in July 2016 announcing the conclusions of the probe.

  3. Fake Families, Fake Papers Are Rampant at Border

’I just brought her because I know they’re gonna release me. So I asked her mom, ‘Can I bring her up here?’’

EL PASO, Texas—No one is able to estimate how many fraudulent families have already been released into the United States. But almost 250,000 individuals within “family units” have been apprehended by Border Patrol in the past seven months.

A new Border Patrol initiative, using rapid DNA testing, has revealed a 30 percent rate of fraud in the two test areas of El Paso and Rio Grande Valley, Texas.

The test, which requires consent from the adult, uses cheek swabs from both the adult and child and takes about two hours to get results.

Homeland Security Investigations, a division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is also interviewing families that Border Patrol suspects are fake. Between mid-April and May 10, HSI special agents interviewed 562 family units, with a full 48 percent of them being determined as fake. Of the 562 interviewed, 95 fraudulent families were identified, in addition to more than 176 fraudulent documents or claims.

“The fraud can be in a number of different ways. You could have two adults that are actually related, for example, a father and a daughter, but the daughter has a counterfeit or altered birth certificate showing her to be a juvenile,” said Jack Staton, special agent in charge, ICE Homeland Security Investigations El Paso…..

Utah High School Students Pose For A Repulsive KKK-Themed ‘Hunting’ Photo on Snapchat With The Caption “N*gga Hunting 2019: I’m Glad I Could Fill My Tags This Year”

A Utah high school has come under scrutiny after a racist photo of two students circulated online showing them wearing blackface

According to NBC News two Hurricane high school students posed in blackface while another person dressed as a member of the KKK is seen grabbing their collar. A Confederate flag is also hanging in the background of the photo

Steve Dunham, the Washington County School District director of communications, condemned the photo saying “Words of disgust and sadness are insufficient to describe our feelings regarding the image that was brought to our attention the evening of May 16. This repulsive photo does not represent the concern, love, and care of Washington County School District”

Dunham said that disciplinary actions would begin immediately. Hurricane City Police Department said they were aware of the photo and that an investigation is underway. They also asked people not to share the photo as a way to stop the hateful message from spreading

  5. Day 852: Demands

1/ Former White House counsel Don McGahn failed to appear at hearing in front of the House Judiciary Committee, following Trump’s instructions to ignore the congressional subpoena. “Our subpoenas are not optional,” Committee chair Jerry Nadler said after McGahn failed to show up. Nadler also warned that “one way or another,” the panel will hear from McGahn, even if that means holding McGahn in contempt of Congress for failing to appear. “This committee,” he said, “will have no choice but to enforce the subpoena against him.” (Associated Press)

2/ A federal judge ruled that Trump’s accounting firm must turn over his financial records to Congress. Judge Amit Mehta ruled that the accounting firm, Mazars, must comply with the subpoena issued by the House Oversight Committee. Trump had sued to quash the subpoena, arguing that Congress had no legitimate legislative reason to request the documents, but Judge Mehta said that they do. “It is simply not fathomable,” Mehta wrote, “that a Constitution that grants Congress the power to remove a President for reasons including criminal behavior would deny Congress the power to investigate him for unlawful conduct — past or present — even without formally opening an impeachment inquiry.” Trump has vowed to appeal Mehta’s ruling. (NPR / Washington Post / The Guardian / New York Times / CNN)

3/ Michael Cohen told lawmakers earlier this year that one of Trump’s personal attorneys told him to lie to Congress about the Trump Tower Moscow deal and suggested he might be pardoned if he helped “shut down” the Russia investigation. Cohen claimed that Jay Sekulow asked him to tell Congress that the Trump Tower Moscow negotiations ended on Jan. 31, 2016 — nearly six months before they actually ended — according to transcripts from Cohen’s two private interviews with lawmakers, which were released yesterday. Cohen also said Sekulow told him that Trump was considering pardons for Cohen and others who “shut down, you know, this investigation.” (Politico / Washington Post)

4/ ‘Fox & Friends’ host Pete Hegseth has been privately lobbying Trump for months to convince him to pardon convicted and accused war criminals. Hegseth has repeatedly lobbied Trump since as early as January and pressed him in multiple private conversations to support pardons for, among others, accused war criminal and former Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher. Gallagher will stand trial on May 28 for allegedly shooting civilians, including a school-aged girl, and knifing a captured ISIS fighter to death while the fighter was receiving medical treatment in 2007 at a facility in Iraq. Notables

Kris Kobach has a list of 10 demands that he wants met if Trump asks him to be the next “immigration czar.” Among Kobach’s demands: 24-hour access to a government jet, an office in the West Wing, guaranteed weekends off, and an assurance that he will be appointed as the next Secretary of Homeland Security by November. He also wants to be the main television spokesperson for Trump’s immigration policies, plus guarantees that all other cabinet secretaries would defer to him on immigration issues. (New York Times)

Trump is expected to choose Ken Cuccinelli to coordinate the administration’s immigration policy. The job’s duties and title are still being decided, but Cuccinelli, an immigration hard-liner, is expected to work through the Department of Homeland Security. (New York Times)

Several members of Nancy Pelosi’s leadership team pressed her to begin an impeachment inquiry against Trump. At least five members of Pelosi’s leadership team pressed her during a closed-door leadership meeting to allow the House Judiciary Committee to start an impeachment inquiry, all of whom Pelosi rebuffed. Wingnut Pastor Defends Roy Moore’s Pursuit Of Teens Because–Jesus

Back in 2017, Roy Moore appeared to be well on his way to being effectively coroneted as the next Senator from Alabama. But that script changed with credible reports that Moore had molested teenage girls and had few qualms about pursuing of girls young enough to be his daughter. In most of the country, even in rock-ribbed Republican areas, this would have spelled finis to Moore’s pursuit of a Senate seat

However, by dishing out a steady diet of red meat about his Democratic challenger, Doug Jones, being a baby-killing librul, as well as wailing that he was the victim of “FAKE NEWS!”, Moore was able to stay in the race. He ultimately lost to Jones by the slimmest of margins–21,900 votes, just a hair above the threshold for a recount

To this day, Moore’s supporters have claimed that Moore was the victim of a politically motivated witch hunt aimed at destroying a good man with solid conservative values. But one of his defenders made an argument that may be the most bizarre to date. He claims that it’s not really fair to smear Moore because–wait for it–Jesus himself was conceived by a teenager

Bishop E. W. Jackson is one of the loudest and most obnoxious members of a very exclusive club–black conservatives who are all-in for Trump. This is a man who claims that Ilhan Omar wasn’t really elected by Americans–even though she represents a Minneapolis-based district that is over 67 percent white

But to hear Jackson talk, we have no right to call him out on this or any other pigweed he spews–because he’s doing so as a minister. He tried that line when he ran for lieutenant governor of Virginia in 2013. It didn’t work; he had his head handed to him by now-governor Ralph Northam

With this in mind, it should come as no surprise that Jackson has willingly joined the crowd of those wanting those big, bad libruls to leave Moore alone. On Wednesday, he tried to warn us against ganging up on Moore during a segment of “The Awakening,” his morning show on Urban Family Talk, a subsidiary of American Family Radio that caters to black conservatives. But his explanation was, shall we say, novel

Jackson reminded the audience that Jones is only in the Senate because of “vicious attacks” on Moore. He claimed that Democrats were making a big fuss out of nothing. He turned his attention to one incident in particular, in which Moore was banned from a shopping mall in his hometown of Gadsden for his repeated pursuit and harassment of teenage girls. Watch more details from “Inside Edition” here

To Jackson, though, it wasn’t really a big deal. Moore’s pursuit of women, as he saw it, was nothing more than a case of a man who had just been discharged from the military “and is looking to date, is looking to get married and nothing untoward, that we’ve heard; parents fully involved”

But that’s not what one of Moore’s targets, Becky Gray, told ABC News in 2017. Gray claimed that when she was 16, Moore made repeated advances toward her while she was working at a department store in the mall. She’d finally had enough, and complained to her manager. Soon afterward, Gray said her manager had told her that Moore had been permanently banned from the mall

Had Jackson done a simple Google search, Gray’s story would have demolished his argument. But then again, based on what he said next, it’s not likely that would have deterred him from defending Moore’s pursuit of teenage girls. He claimed that it shouldn’t have been an issue because of how young Mary was when she conceived Jesus

“These things shift and change culturally. Because Mary, based upon our best guesses–given the age at which young girls would marry during that time and become betrothed–Mary was probably somewhere between the age of 15 and 17 years old. Somewhere in there. But, of course, she was a very spiritually mature woman, young lady, who was used mightily by God. So this man comes home and he dates girls and some of them are young. Yes, some of them are young. But suddenly, they want to turn him into a pedophile”

Um, E. W.? You just torpedoed your entire case when you said that “things shift and change culturally.” Remember, back in that era, women were essentially given away to prospective husbands–and had no say in the matter. Moreover, since Mary’s time, we have learned that if girls as old as 15 carry pregnancies to term, they risk serious complications, and girls younger than 13 risk dying on the operating table

Jackson pastors Exodus Faith Ministries in Chesapeake, Virginia. One has to wonder–if one of the teenage girls in his flock claims to have been the target of harassment or improper pursuit by a man, does he tell her that he could be another Mary? It says a lot that we even have to ask that question

      • Bernie, this is hilarious, esp. the part that it has noting to do with politics. LMAO. Pelosi now blaming the propaganda arm of the DNC for stirring up the impeachment talk, which the Dems apparently can’t walk back and appease their ever more radical left base:

Pelosi Blames Media For Being “Totally Obsessed” With Impeaching Trump

Pelosi blamed the MSM for their obsession with impeachment and said that she didn’t believe that an impeachment inquiry would provide Democrats with any new information.

“The press is just totally obsessed with the impeachment part of it. Not obsessed enough to write the particulars of what we’re doing in our committees and how important that is. But just to say, ‘When are you going to do that?’” Pelosi said. “If the facts take us there, that’s where we have to go. It has nothing to do with politics.”

“I’m not sure that we get any more information by instituting an impeachment inquiry. But if we thought that we would, that’s a judgment that we’d have to make,” Pelosi added.

  7. More from the Peoples Republic of California:

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has proposed $98 million a year to cover low-income illegal immigrants between the ages of 19 and 25, but the state Assembly’s bill would cover all illegal immigrants over the age of 19 living in California – a proposal that would cost an estimated $3.4 billion.

The state Senate, meanwhile, wants to cover adults ages 19 to 25, plus seniors 65 and older. That bill’s sponsor, Sen. Maria Elana Durazo, scoffed at cost concerns, noting the state has a projected $21.5 billion budget surplus.

  8. Well, well, it looks like there is a major “Collusion” scandal, even the New York Times is forced to report it. The Democrats and their main stream media propaganda arm, will keep demanding Trump’s tax returns and beat the impeachment drum to keep the lowly citizens from discovering this massive financial and influence peddling scandal.

NYT Confirms Hunter Biden Bank of China Deal, Leaves Out Key Details

A Tuesday New York Times article confirms revelations in Peter Schweizer’s bestselling book Secret Empires regarding the $1.5 billion deal Hunter Biden’s private equity firm secured from the state-owned Bank of China while his father was vice president; however, the Times omits key details that call into question statements made by Biden’s associates about the foreign financial deals engulfing his father’s 2020 presidential campaign in scandal.

The Times’ article focuses on criticism of President Trump’s call for an investigation into the financial deals Hunter Biden’s firm secured in Ukraine and China while his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, was negotiating U.S. foreign policy with those countries. However, the article does at least acknowledge that the deals occurred….

“The Chinese government has figured out that the way to get favorable treatment from policymakers in Washington, DC, is by, basically, signing sweetheart deals with the children of politicians because they think by doing so, they’ll get better policy positions from our government,” Schweizer said. “And the history indicates in the Obama administration that that’s exactly what happens.”

But China is not the only foreign government to have dealings with Hunter Biden’s firm.

A New York Times article three weeks ago described Hunter Biden’s lucrative dealings with a Ukrainian oligarch-owned energy company at a time when his father was mediating U.S. policy towards Ukraine. According to the Times, the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings paid Hunter Biden “as much as $50,000 per month in some months” for his work as a board member, despite the fact that he “lacked any experience in Ukraine and just months earlier had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine.”

A Ukrainian corruption probe into Burisma Holdings was scuttled in 2016, when Vice President Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees to the country if the Ukrainian government did not fire the prosecutor who launched the corruption investigation. Withholding the loans would have thrown the former Soviet republic into insolvency at a time when it was fending off attacks from Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

The Times article today claims that Hunter Biden’s partner Christopher Heinz was “concerned” that Seneca Partners’ involvement in Ukraine “created the appearance of selling influence.”….

    • All I can saw is wow. Obvious collusion and influence selling and the deep state goes after Trump with the fake Hillary dossier.

  9. Trump’s Head Explodes After Fox News Analyst Calls Him A Criminal

It has been amply established that Donald Trump is the most thin-skinned man ever to reside in the White House. This is partly because, as near as can be determined, he has never worked for anyone unrelated to him before. He spent his entire life prior to 2016 at what became the Trump Organization–and even then as either the head honcho or the heir apparent.

The result is a man who simply cannot bear to be criticized or told “no.” Whenever that happens, like clockwork Trump goes into one of his patented rants on Twitter. We got another of those on Saturday night, when one of Fox News’ top legal analysts dared to say that Robert Mueller had indeed found evidence of criminal conduct by Trump.

Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano is one of the few talking heads at the fair and balanced network who was willing to take off his blinders when Mueller began investigating Russia’s attempt to hack the election, as well as the shocking and criminal behavior Mueller uncovered. Last month, for instance, Napolitano told Neil Cavuto that Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, potentially exposed his former boss to severe legal peril when he testified before the House Oversight Committee. Watch here.

By Napolitano’s reckoning, Cohen implicated Trump in “at least four potential felonies.” According to Cohen, Trump lied under oath on multiple occasions about his contacts with Roger Stone, and also misled the Treasury Department and the Federal Election Commission about his debts to Cohen. There was nary a word from Trump about this, which is very telling considering that Trump’s head explodes at the tiniest perceived slight.

That makes Trump’s reaction to a video bombshell Napolitano detonated on Wednesday almost as telling. As part of his video blog, “Judge Napolitano’s Chambers,” Napolitano took a long, hard look at the evidence Mueller uncovered that suggested Trump obstructed justice.

Napolitano was flummoxed that Mueller did not believe he could determine one way or another whether Trump should be prosecuted for obstruction of justice. “Is the president above the law?” he asked. He then reminded the audience that Mueller found at least 12 instances where Trump tried to “slow down, negate or interfere with” the investigation.

According to Napolitano, Attorney General William Barr would not have greenlighted an obstruction indictment against Trump because Barr thought it was only obstruction to “interfere in an investigation of yourself.” Au contraire, Napolitano said. He argued that when you “interfere with government functions” while an investigation is underway–even if you’re not the target–you obstruct justice.

And then Napolitano gave Trump both barrels.

If he had ordered his aides to violate federal law to save a human life or to preserve human freedom, he would at least have a moral defense to his behavior. But ordering them to break federal law to save him from the consequences of his own behavior? That is immoral, that is criminal, that is defenseless, and that is condemnable.

Ouch. Imagine a judge peering down from his bench at sentencing and telling the defendant that his behavior was “immoral,” “defenseless” and “condemnable.” You never want to hear a judge use that kind of language.

While Napolitano’s comments dominated the political conversation for much of the weekend, it took awhile for Trump to weigh in. But when he did so, it looked like the anger had been building up for some time before his head finally exploded.

So to hear Trump talk, Napolitano asked him for a Supreme Court seat, and Trump turned him down, Napolitano supposedly asked Trump to pardon a friend, and Trump turned him down. Ever since then, Napolitano has been all in with the “angry Democrats” leading the “WITCH HUNT” against him.

Riddle us this, Mr. Trump. Where’s your extraordinary evidence to support such an extraordinary claim? In the absence of such evidence, we can only assume that you were grasping at straws, since any competent reading of Mueller’s report shows that Trump only avoided an indictment because several of his aides refused to carry out his more egregious orders. After all, they would have been liable themselves had they done so. And had one of those aides tried to save his own head by claiming he was following orders from the president, he would have been laughed out of the courtroom.

As often as Trump has been in a courtroom, he would know that when a judge says that your behavior was “defenseless” and “condemnable,” he’s saying that you have no case. When the best Trump can do is to engage in one of his typical unhinged Twitter rants, that says a lot

  10. Jim Bakker: Pay Me Up To $450 To Help Trump Keep America Great

Among the many so-called moral guardians who have turned Donald Trump into a golden–er, orange–calf, Jim Bakker is among the most obnoxious of all. He has been very much at the forefront of the religious right’s concerted effort to bully evangelicals into joining them in bowing down to Trump. To hear him talk, Christians who oppose Trump could potentially pay a very stiff price for doing so–as in the loss of their salvation.

With a line like that, it should come as no surprise that Bakker is already all-in to ensure Trump gets a second term. On Election Night 2018, even as it was clear that the American people were delivering a sharp rebuke to Trump, Bakker and another general in the Trumpvangelical Army, Lance Wallnau, were already ramping up efforts to get their followers to the ballot box in 2020.

It was clear long before then that Bakker’s obstinate support for Trump, as well as his equally obstinate effort to bully Christians into supporting Trump, is the latest con from the man who is still the stereotype of the money-grubbing televangelist. But any doubt that this was the case was probably put to rest earlier this week. He’s teaming up with Wallnau to hawk a package of pro-Trump agitprop.

Wallnau recently traveled to Bakker’s abode in the Ozarks for a series of programs that are airing this week. People for the American Way’s Right Wing Watch noticed that on one of them, Wallnau was urging viewers to pay $45 to get a package that includes a Trump commemorative coin.

Wallnau was billing this 24-karat gold coin as a “point of contact” between Trump-supporting charismatics and God as they pray for Trump’s re-election campaign. Many charismatics use objects such as cloths and coins as “points of contact” with people for whom they’re praying–a symbolic laying on of hands.

Wallnau also intends the coin as a reminder that Trump is a modern-day Cyrus. He and other Trumpvangelicals often tell their followers that in the Bible, God used King Cyrus to help the Jews even though he himself isn’t a believer. In the same vein, Wallnau and others claim that while Trump isn’t a believer, God chose him to not only make America great again, but make America Christian again.

This package also includes a booklet that contains more details on Wallnau’s 2015 prediction that Trump would be a modern Cyrus, as well as a DVD of an evening service Wallnau conducted at Bakker’s facility. Bakker is also hawking bundle deals in case his followers want to give this agitprop to their friends–three packages for $100, and 13 packages for a cool $450.

In light of recent events, this can only be described as another case of one of the most infamous con men in the history of religious broadcasting blatantly fleecing the flock. Remember, this comes on the heels of some 700 federal prosecutors signing an open letter arguing that Trump indeed obstructed justice by interfering with the Robert Mueller investigation.

Indeed, according to the New York Review of Books, at least two members of Mueller’s team were of the same mind. If not for longstanding Justice Department policy that holds sitting presidents should not be indicted, they would have argued that Trump should pay the price for his attempts to derail Mueller.

Oh, that’s right. To hear Bakker and others talk, this is nothing more than part of a demonic attempt to stop Trump. And to hear Wallnau talk, the investigation itself was a giant demonic cloud over the White House.

We already knew that Bakker, Wallnau and other Trump-worshiping pastors are helping their new messiah perpetrate massive swindle on this nation. Well, by asking their followers to pay as much as $450 to join in the effort to cover Trump in prayer, they have removed any doubt that they part and parcel of this swindle.

‘It’s either going to be bloodshed or Liberty State’ – Republicans Attend Rally To Carve Out New “Christian” State

The far-right gathered in Spokane Valley to push for the creation of Liberty State, a 51st US state that is intended to be something of a wildlife sanctuary for Christian conservatives, the Spokesman-Review reported Friday

“The Liberty State Gala drew about 200 people to the CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley. Supporters of the new Christian conservative state – which would span parts of Washington and Oregon as well as Idaho, Montana and Wyoming – raised money by auctioning pies and other desserts” the newspaper reported

One of the speakers was notorious far-right Republican state Rep. Matt Shea. Shea published a “biblical war” manifesto last fall. IN APRIL, SHEA WAS CAUGHT CONSPIRING TO FAR-RIGHT EXTREMISTS TO COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST LIBERAL ACTIVISTS. In response, Shea quoted an anti-Semitic website to lash out at the journalist who exposed him

The lineup of speakers included Shea, Spokane City Councilman Mike Fagan, Spokane City Council candidate Tim Benn, and Loren Culp, the police chief in Republic, Washington, who made national headlines when he pledged not to enforce a controversial gun control initiative that voters passed in November. County Prosecutor Larry Haskell, former Treasurer Rob Chase and gun activist Anthony Bosworth also were in attendance, as were Barry and Anne Byrd, who lead the Marble Community Fellowship in northern Stevens County

Shea’s legislative assistant, Rene’ Holaday, warned of violence if people did not go along with the idea to state the new state

“It’s either going to be bloodshed or Liberty State,” Holaday said ominously
