JUST IN: Evansville Utility Board File Lawsuit Against The Owners Of the McCurdy For Delinquent Water Bill

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Evansville Utility Board just filed a lawsuit against the owners of the McCurdy for delinquent water and sewer bills.

The lawsuit was filed in Vanderburgh Circuit Court today by the City of Evansville Water and Sewer Department. The lawsuit requesting that the courts foreclose on the three liens filed against the McCurdy in March, May, and June. 2018. The suit also claims that the owners of the McCurdy owe the City Water and Sewer Department around $861,938.

In a prepared statement sent to the City-County Observer 5th Ward City Council members Justin Elpers said; The Kunkle Group tried to cheat the system and got caught. The Kunkle Group is a ratepayer like everyone else and they should pay what is owed to the EWSU”!
