Were the CCO investigative journalists able to discovery how much the major corrections to the North Main grocery cart path project will cost the City? My non-expert estimate is close to $1,000,000. What will the City do to recover these costs from the person or company that made the road to narrow in the first place?
Maybe one of our city council members will ask that question at the meeting tonight. But I would say the odds for that would be pretty slim.

Create a new tax.
Haffer and Associates will probably charge the city another couple million to fix a problem they caused, but donate 300,000 to Wieneke’s re-election fund.
