EVANSVILLE, IN – The Evansville Convention & Visitors Bureau awarded checks for three tourist capital development projects at Monday’s Board of Commissioners Meeting.
A total of $505,000 was awarded to the following organizations:
Mesker Park Zoo $250,000
Willard Library $75,000
Mickey’s Kingdom $180,000
As the tourism management organization for Vanderburgh County, the Evansville Convention & Visitors Bureau is dedicated to marketing and supporting the local hotels and attractions by developing and facilitating the convention and visitor industry in Evansville.
The Grants program awards those organizations in the community that assist in making our mission possible.
