Eighth District Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. released the following statement after President Donald Trump huddled with House Republicans to urge passage of the American Health Care Act.

“President Trump made it clear this morning that the plan we have put forward fulfills the promise he made – and members of Congress made – to repeal and replace Obamacare,” said Bucshon. “The American Health Care Act, which is on the House floor this week, is the first and necessary step in that process. I’m happy to have the full support of the President; and look forward to working with his administration, the Department of Health and Human Services, and my colleagues in Congress as we work to bring families relief from the Obamacare disaster.”

President Trump’s meeting with the House Republican Conference comes on the heels of his speech in Louisville last night where told supporters the American Health Care Act, “…is our long-awaited chance to finally get rid of Obamacare.”

  1. Who cares about that doughie little toady’s meeting with Trump? Trump has had his vote, on any issue, from day one of his installment as president. The only way Bucshon could be any better for Trump is if his was a Russian. Come to think of it, he does resemble one (or two or three) of those Russian nesting dolls. Bucshon is the worst representative the 8th District has ever had.

  2. Amen. Larry made millions off of the health care system. We need to remember this come election time. Especially for you folks that are going to lose your health care if this becomes law.

  3. President Trump is hell bent on replacing or undoing everything the last administration has done so sad for America also your article yesterday about the colosium and how the mayor wants to tear it down I was told there was a lot money approved last year or the year before to improve it so your comment yesterday wasn’t totally acurate
