California to save $1 Billion/year by Eliminating Redevelopment Commissions

  1. Looks as if California has figured out the solution to that problem before us, but hopefully we will follow their lead very soon.

  2. It goes without saying that if the ERC had not existed, we could have saved a bundle here. It was the hose that Weinzapfel used to siphon dollars from the pockets of taxpayers to the pockets of his favored few.
